Heavy duty mic that is bullet proof. XLR cord that came with it is only about 5ft long and cheap.

I love this microphone for performances. The sound quality enhances my vocals better than any microphone I have tried so far. Thinking about getting its wireless companion soon I am so impressed.

I purchased this microphone and stand to do some recording on YouTube. One project was to record some Edison Diamond Disc records. The photos are from my first session of recording just a few days ago. The microphone and stand were a perfect for the natural reproduction of the sound of the original records. I'm also using it for voice for video webcasts. Both the stand and the mic are heavy duty, excellent quality, excellent value. I'm so glad I didn't settle for a lesser priced brand. They are both made to hold up under decades of use. I couldn't recommend them more.

I notice the photo has changed for the product; this comes with the microphone, stand, and a pop filter. The old photo showed a cable, not the filter. You want to order a cable with this if you don't have any. The microphone has it's own stand adapter for larger threaded stands. The stand that comes with this has both a clip and the slide in adapter. The threading is for a smaller mount point, so you don't need to order other parts. The only issue with the specific one that I was shipped was the tightening screw for the boom part on the vertical stand didn't have the hole drilled out to be able to hold on to the stand. Minor adjustment, otherwise it would have been a 5 for this. I've used it outside and it was a very stable stand, appropriate for the weight of the Shure microphone, which does not require phantom power, nor does it have a switch. It just works :) I will likely purchase a second one to have a paired set. I got this for playing guitar and singing outdoors. Obviously will work well indoors since the stand was fine for the uneven ground.

Good mic but this set did not include the 5/8-inch male to 3/8-inch adapter required to actually attach this microphone to the included stand. That's just dumb, now I have to order one separately and wait for it to arrive before I can even use this stand.

Great bundle of gear that will surely last me for years. The Shure mic solid, as well as the clip and bag. The stand serves it's purpose, but itsn't the best build quality that I've seen. The joints can be a little loose at times regardless of how much I tighten the knob. The XLR is also not the best I've seen, but I have not had any issues with it thus far.

This microphone set was so affordable and it is very high quality. The sound projection is tremendous and very dependable. The sound is amazing and very quality which is extremely important when you take it on the road and trust that your equipment will product the results that you want and this does.

Love it! Its perfect for my in home practice (the level I'm at now) Will be anxious to see how it performs in different venues. Great sound and easy to assemble. Made with quality. Great value for the price. Would buy another one.
