I've tried this lock on an Leica M2 and a M6, it would screw just fine but it would be very loose. It came off from just taking a couple of shots during a shoot.I don't really recommend this one for these camera bodies but it could work for different bodies better.

This shutter button is solid brass and has a concave top so it is comfortable and easy to feel without looking at it. The sides are knurled and the whole shutter release is very well machined and feels premium. Adding this to an old or new camera will elevate the look and make it feel more premium. This is an affordable upgrade to a lot of different cameras both vintage and new like the new Fuji X100VI. I love this shutter release button.

Let's make things clear, the product itself is great. The material feels high quality, looks nice, and has no problem screwing into any of my cameras, from my modern mirrorless Fujis to my 50-year-old Yashicas. Alongside the shutter release button itself, it comes with 2 additional rubber o-rings to help with fit. No question the product itself is great. However, compared with other similar brass options, it's definitely a little pricier as comparable products range in the $8 to $11 range and sometimes even come with two shutter release buttons for that price. Overall disregarding price, this is a great quality product.

I like this one. It has a good feel and attaches securely to my Fujifilm X-Pro3. I've had these in the past, only to discover one day later that it had unscrewed itself and fallen somewhere on the side of the road. This one has not done this.It came in a hard plastic case with a hinged snap-in-place lid and cut-out padding. It has a second rubber gasket to keep it secure on the shutter release. When using it, it has the grippy-edge machined into the metal so it's helpful to turn on the camera quickly without looking. It's tight enough that when I turn it off it doesn't unscrew, which I think was my issue with the other ones. They had smooth sides so I couldn't get it on tight enough to avoid unscrewing when I powered off. This isn't doing this. It's vaguely gold looking, compared to my silver X-Pro3, but it's subtle and not off-putting. The camera is an odd shade as well, so it's fine. I do think it would look amazing on the all-black version, though.Similar price point to others (maybe a bit more) but those are lost somewhere and this one is hanging in there, so it's totally worth it.

I ordered this soft shutter release button because I have been using a similar one for a few years on each of my two Fujifilm cameras, but one button had come loose and gotten lost in the process of moving my smaller camera in and out of a vest pocket. The Jingzher button’s gold finish adds a classy cosmetic touch to an already cool looking camera.More important for me, though, is that I like the feel of this larger concave button under my finger as I gently squeeze the shutter control and capture an image. I will say, though, that opinions vary as to which feels better, the original shutter button or the larger, slightly elevated accessory button. My preference for the add-on button is actually a bit of an acquired taste, gained from a few years of usage.I can speak from experience in advising that the button’s threaded connection can loosen with usage. That’s how my old one fell off and got lost. The button does come with two tiny rubber O rings, though, one to use and the other to be a spare. The button and the two O rings arrived in a tiny clear plastic box, presented like a small piece of jewelry. The spare rubber ring is extremely small, so the box is a great place to store it and find it if needed. With an O ring on the threaded stem, below the button, you can tighten the button and compress the ring for a quite secure connection. Despite that, I recommend periodically checking to make sure the button is still tightened down.Is this accessory for you? Well, I can’t really make that call. But I can say that many photographers prefer the look and feel of one of these after using one for a while. And I can also point out that it is hard to find a more affordable accessory, so you don’t have much to lose if you give it a try.

The screw threads are clean and sharp so it easily attaches to my cameras. I tend to buy OEM accessories but this is a decent copy. Two of my photos show it with a Nikon brand button. The thread is just as good and it is a little larger which is neither here nor there. It comes with a few tiny o-rings for a snugger fit but it worked the same with or without. Obviously it will not fit all cameras but it fits a few of my digital and film Nikon cameras.

Does not work for the Nikon Zf or Zfc. This button does not stay attached, falls off and loosens on its own. Recently fell off and was lost. It's a waste of money.
