There's not much to say about this shutter release other than it works. The build is lightweight and doesn't feel sturdy, but none of them really do. It does the job of more expensive releases just as well. Most newer cameras have a built in timer, but I still prefer using this with long exposure so as to avoid any camera shake in long exposures. Much quicker to take photos as well.I have another release with built in intervalometer but I never use it as I really only need the shutter release.I have wireless releases as well but these things are so inexpensive that I have multiple to throw in different bags.Overall recommend for the price point and ease of use!

I bought this for my Nikon Z7II and mainly use it for still photography on a tripod. As the title says, it works well, very simple in design and mechanism. The trigger itself is lightweight; it might feel a bit cheap in terms of build quality, but at this price, it's not a big deal if you lose or break it. A shutter release cable isn’t something you’ll use for every type of photography, so it’s nice to have one you can just keep around without worrying too much about it.

Very glad I ordered this shutter release as I'm planning on doing some telescope photography and was worried about any movement. This shutter release will solve that issue. My Nikon D3100 works perfectly with this release and is as simple as, open rubber door, plug in controller - and press the button when ready to snap a photo. There is no delay between button press and photo as far as I can tell. Just exactly what you'd expect from a wired connection. The plug fits in the camera's port firmly, but neither too tight or too loose.

I bought this specifically for use on a Nikon D7200, and it works perfectly. And, as a bonus, it is WAY more economical than the brand-name equivalent. Two thumbs up!

works as expected. plug and play. worked first time no special settings needed. cord was pretty short, longer would be better. started and stopped video ok. button locks. build quality is ok. good for studio work may be a bit lightweight for field work.

This remote shutter fits my Nikon D7100 perfectly and works just like it’s supposed to.Most remote shutters feel cheap, it’s basically just a circuit board and some wires, but the button on this one feels very cheap. It’s way too easy to accidentally push it into the "hold" position if you press a little too hard or at the wrong angle. That said, for the price, it gets the job done. If you just need a basic wired shutter release without spending a lot, this one will work.

I hate losing my shutter release remotes, but it happens. So, when I saw the Keabroir Shutter Release for Nikon, I had to pick it up. The last one I had gotten was a couple more dollars and had a longer release cable, but this one, for a few less dollars, is a good value. Once connected to my Z7ii, it works perfectly! If you push the button down while pressing it forward, it'll keep the shutter pressed for multiple exposures. This comes in handy when shooting for lightning. It's easy to use and does not require any batteries to operate.Overall, if you're looking for a good, inexpensive shutter release, I'd strongly recommend picking up the Keabroir shutter release.
