For over a year I've been doing computer work from my bed sitting up. I've always used a small rag or t-shirt to prop my aluminum mouse pad straight. It was always so frustrating.I knew this would be a game-changer, but to the extent, i never felt until I had it.I was ready to give this a 4 star review, because the base broke off after one day, but that was my fault because the knob where you tighten the height got wedged into a clamp that holds my mattress. I'm glad this happened, because ever since, I've been using this shelf with so much ease and so much comfort. I do have the choice to install the base again, but I actually prefer it without it because I can freely move it along my bed exactly where I need my mouse to be, and it's completely stable without the floor base.I can very easily set it where I want it, and it stays put, and it stays level. This has been a HUGE quality of life improvement for me. I will probably paint it to match my decor, but the functionality here is bare zero.It's the absolute perfect companion for anyone who wants to use their keyboard and mouse away from a desk and into a much more comfortable space.

Not the best quality! I've only had it for a week and I can already feel the screws coming loose!
