Nail upper plank.

Depress the thumb tab, Lift clamps for siding up and off lower plank, then pull out from under top plank

My first review was blocked for some reason. Probably because it frankly pointed out the poor design. Amazon AI trying to suggest “ideas”. What good is a review if forced to give good reviews. I did not use inappropriate language or anything.

We are prepping to side the front of our home this fall. These gadgets are going to be a godsend. We tried them out on a neighbors shed, and they made getting siding up SO much easier. There are nicer, more expensive tools out there to assist in this, but these are simple to use, do the job well, and cost far less than fancy tools. If we decide to side the entire house, we will be ordering another set so the job can get done even faster. My only complaint would be that these come with no instructions. A printed instruction sheet would be great for DIYers without siding knowledge.

Using this to remove and re-install some vinyl siding, to get to some old wall sheathing behind them. Worked well and held without bending or twisting, when I was trying to get one misbehaving piece back into position. Already would've paid themselves off with this one job.

Looks great somewhat pro I never used any of this tools but does feels great and will put it to work this spring.I am happy in getting it.

These give the siding a 6 1/2" face instead of a 7". I have measured several times and the hangers are simply built wrong. Waste of money.
