Required on January 1, 2008 by 2005 NEC, combination type CAFCI circuit breakers must be placed on bedroom power and lighting circuits. Protects downstream branch circuit wiring and cord sets and power-supply cords. Provides ARC fault, overload and short circuit protection. UL listed. Protects against worn electrical insulation or damaged wire, misapplied or damaged plug in appliances and equipment, and loose electrical connections. 2 LEDs appear for 5 seconds each time the CAFCI is turned on, up to 30 days after the last trip to indicate last known trip condition. There is a difference between "plug on" and "plug in".Plug in means the circuit breaker plugs into the power bus.Plug on means the neutral plugs onto the neutral bus.Instead of plugging on the neutral, they have pigtail wires, which must be manually connected to the neutral bus.The product is incorrectly identified.
