totally did the job in replacing a burned out breaker in my home circuit box. The one I replaced was the same brand & model and it had lasted for 12 years before it started buzzing, which is a sign that it needed to be replaced.Make absolutely sure you turn the main power switch off to your circuit box before you do the replacement!!

We purchased 3 of these and then found out they are against electrical code in Canada. It was too late to return. These should not be sold in Canada - do not purchase!

Just a warning, these will not pass inspection as they are not up to code. Code in Ontario requires combination AFCI, these only detect branch/feeder faults. Get the combination type AFCI breakers if you want to pass final inpsection.

these are outlawed in ontario had my final eletrical inspection by ESA today and failed because these were outlawed in 2016 buyer beware

Arrived quickly and did the job! Be sure you turn off power to the panel before installing if you're not sure how to do a hot swap out.

I haven't had any problems with this breaker since installing it. The old one would trip every time there was a lightning storm, this one has been working great. It only took me a few minutes to install.
