This is by far the best price I found for a Mercury voltage regulator out there. I needed a 5 wire regulator as well but all you have to do is take the 6th wire (the ground) and bolt it to the regulator body with the other ground wire. Keeps the voltage at a steady 13.8 much better than the factory one.

Ordered this part number 3 different times. Illustration shows a 5 wire (no ground) regulator. Which was what i needed. All three shipments were returned because they were six wire (had ground wire) regulators. Ended up ordering CDI regulator.
