Everything works perfect except for 1 piece. Can't remember witch but besides that carburetor works perfectly fine after rebuild

Had a Mercarb I needed to rebuild. This Kit had everything needed to rebuild the carb. The float I purchased seperately. The quality was excellent and after the rebuild the carb worked like new.

Got my 07 TKS 5L Mercarb running great again. Carb would not idle. Think it was a gasket leak and clogged idle jet. This kit did not come with all new jets, but it got my boat back on the water!

Sierra Mercarb Carburetor Rebuild KitThe kit was great and came with ALMOST everything I needed. It does not include the fuel jets, this is the first carb kit I've ordered that does not include replacement jets. This is also the first boat carburetor I've rebuilt so maybe im just used to kits for small engines.Pros:Every combination of gaskets I could possibly have ever wanted. Had extras when I was done, guessing for different carbs.Came neatly packaged and had decent instructionsCons:If I could say anything it would be this is a universal kit for several carbs. Maybe could save some money if it was strictly for mercarb and didnt have extra parts. No biggie, no stars docked.

My MerCruiser would not idle properly - before ordering I watched a few videos about cleaning the carb and saw it was an easy enough DIY for me.The kit worked great. It does not include a float and I ordered a Sierra float but ended up not using it because it was not marked for proper adjustment. But my OEM float was in fine shape anyway. My boat runs great now.
