This table is very nice and good quality but... extremely difficult to put together. And, directions were little help. Diffently a two person job!

We bought this table 8 months ago and it has held up so well. I love that extends and the leaf is easy to add and clip in. The table looks very well made and sturdy for the price!

We are very pleased overall with the table. However, every part was contained in one package which made it very heavy and very cumbersome to move. We think this resulted in one damaged corner, perhaps from dropping this heavy item. There were also multiple holes and tears in the outer cardboard covering which affected the package hardware kit as it was torn also. Once we opened the outer package, bolts from the hardware kit fell onto the ground. We were able to retrieve most of the bolts but 3 of 16 were not recovered and must have already fallen out of one of the tears before it was delivered to us. We did receive a partial refund from Amazon. We accepted the damaged corner and partial refund because it would have been impossible to repackage and return the table or to accept a replacement table just to get 3 bolts.

This table would cost you a lot more if you bought it at a furniture store.looks great. I had one some what like this only bigger. Our kitchen isn’t that big so I had to give it away to a family member. This one is perfect! and at a quarter of the price. The only problem is you have to put it together. It’s heavy so you’re need to people. Very happy with my purchase.

When we opened the box, we were surprised at how dark the wood was - much darker than in the photos. I actually thought they may have sent us the wrong table - the Dark Brown instead of the Medium. But I checked online at the Ashely store, and the serial number on the box was for the Medium Brown, so it looks like they sent the right one - it is just very dark. Also, there are 2-3 saw cuts in each of the top panels. When I saw the first one, I thought it was a flaw, but then I saw it was on all 3. They do not especially highlight that in the online photos, but if you look REALLY carefully at the overall top, you can see the lines in it. I have attached a photo of what they actually look like. I think this is what they are referring to in the description as 'lightly distressed'. In my opinion they ruined a beautiful piece of wood. Overall the table is solid and well made, and goes together quickly and easily. It is a good quality table. Just darker than I had planned on and has the saw cuts in the top. I also agree with the other reviews that said the box arrived damaged by shippers, but the product inside was fine. There were many many many staples to take out, which was annoying, but probably is part of the reason that the table was in great shape while the box wasn’t.
