Fits PET Carboys. A breathable Silicone stopper that acts as both a stopper and an airlock. Unique design allows CO2 pressure to escape but keeps Oxygen and airborne contamination out. Quickly became a stopper of choice for wine. Used by numerous commercial wineries. Air tight seal is great for extended fermented lager when CO2 production is still present, but very slight. Bung is 2" wide beneath the flange and tapers down to 1 5/8". Works best on carboys with an opening of 1 3/4"

I love these airlocks. Just wished they were less expensive.

Haven't actually tried it out yet. Think it'll be useful during the hot summer months, and no temperature control, brewing 5 gallon batches of beer, using Kveik yeast in a 7 gallon Fermonster bottle.
