Works well for keeping water from splashing onto counters alongside the sink. However, I wish that the sink guard worked better with our rounded-cornered sink. As it is, it's a bit floppy and awkward where the end of the guard crosses the corners of the sink. It still serves its purpose. I've not had pools of water collecting under the items next to our sink since I installed this. It's easy to clean--just pop it into the dishwasher.
