The silicone mat is a great addition to the side of my bbq. It’s great to know that a hot tong won’t damage things and having a silicone mat under the plate on a cold day keeps the plate from getting cold from the metal below. Very easy to clean and helps stop things from rolling around. Did have a spill on it and it contained the liquid until I could remove to dump it. Great option and highly recommended

This fits the side shelf on my Blackstone well. It is well made and priced great. It makes cleanup a cinch. After several uses and washes it still looks brand new.

For years I always set the flipper and BBQ sauce brush on the shelf beside the BBQ surface, and of course it looks gross if not regularly cleaned and is probably not that sanitary! This silicone mat is the answer! It fits all my tools nicely and anything that's on them can be cleaned off really easy with a wipe or a wash. Product is made well and should last a long time. I like it!

Fantastic for spatula and tongs! Being much easier to wash than the side tables on the grill makes this worth having. Sure you can use another plate, but ceramic or glass could fall and break, and I don't trust putting hot utensils on a plastic plate. A towel could also work but tends to stain. This is simply Fantastic

I didn't add pictures because it looks exactly like others have shown. We griddle almost every night for dinner, so this is super useful for us. My husband likes it because it keeps stuff (bbq sauce, oil, marinades) off the side shelf, making clean-up easier. I like it because it keeps the tools clean and off the bare metal. I'm a germaphobe so I have a thing about the cooking utensils laying on the shelf and this helps with that phobia. After he griddles, I either wash it in the sink or put it on the top shelf of the dishwasher. Easy peasy and it's ready to go the next day.

Hard to write a big elaborate review about a product like this. I was wanting a solution to both prevent grease from both splashing onto my Blackstone side tables as well as dripping onto them from my cooking implements.This solves those problems while making room for you to keep a couple of spices. You do still have to be careful not to put plastic spice containers close to the barbecue/griddle because the silicone can’t stop the radiating heat.As we just hit another cold spell and it is currently -38 C outside right now I unfortunately won’t get to use it for at least a few days, but it is definitely going to get a lot of use!At $18 CAD this is a simple solution to a common problem and I very much like the orange colour and fact that it doesn’t over complicate anything!

This review is for the Snuggery Silicone Griddle Tool MatWhile they say this is for the Blackstone griddle, I used mine the other day on my pellet BarBQ, which has a shelf on the front similar in width to the Blackstone. (I also have a Blackstone out at the lake lot, which this will eventually go out to once camping season begins, but the mat can be used for many applications, not just with the Blackstone.)The mat is a nice neutral gray colour which I like. It also has pretty deep ridges which allow grease, liquids or any other residues that come off your grill/griddle tools to drain into and keep it off say the handles of the tools. It also has a separate set of raised trays that you can separate grill tools from say spice or seasoning containers or bottles of water and oil for the griddle tops.Easy clean up - I have not tried putting my mat in the dishwasher just yet but have hand-cleaned it several times and with a little bit of soapy water, it wipes grease, fat, and anything else off pretty quickly and easily. I thin it has a nice weight that I wouldn't hesitate to put the mat into the dishwasher - it is heavy enough to stay in place and likely not go flying around the inside of the dishwasher from the jet spraying of water - I just haven't gotten to testing that yet.For $22.50 Cdn at time of review, it seems like a good value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I think it is reasonable quality and value for money given the price. It makes the space a bit more functional while also being easy to clean and preventing scratching. I think it works well for its intended purpose, it fits and does the job. However, I would have preferred something a little bit more heavy duty, it is kind of floppy and doesn't hold in place well (if it is windy), so I can't leave it out as a main stay part of the griddle. I do like the style and color though, as it matches other accessories!

This mat is as useful indoors as it is by the BBQ!I tried it on the counter-top next to the stove, to contain drips from large spoons and ladles.I tried it outside while grilling at -20C. I even left out on the BBQ overnight at -25C, and discovered it remained very flexible.Nothing really sticks to it, so it's trivial to scrub off in the sink.The mat does come rolled up, so it retains a bit of curl even many days after laying it flat.

Hubs got a new 8 burner Halo griddle last summer and lamented about how dirty and greasy the side shelves were getting from the spatulas and pancake dispenser. He cleans his grill very well but he hates to do it. I got this for him for Christmas and he was thrilled. It was 80% flat out of the package. He put some heavy cans on the corners and it only took a few days to flatten out.It goes right in the dishwasher, saving him time.Because it’s silicone, it’s very non-slippery. It stays put on the shelf and everything he puts on it is stable. The handles of the utensils he uses are too big to fit in the u-shaped “holders” but they aren’t needed. He also likes the size of the top sections he uses for spices, rubs, salt, and pepper.Definitely a must have for the side shelves of grills. Now I think I should buy another one for the counter next to my cooktop.

This is a silicone mat. You can put it on top of something and then put your messy things on it instead. It's easier to clean (maybe) than the thing it's on top of. It has a bunch of largely unnecessary ridges and and bumps and cutouts that complicate that easier cleaning process. It came rolled up so it doesn't sit perfectly flat, although I'm hopeful that resolves itself with time.The images in the listing make the mat, and by extension the shelf on your grill seem larger, as they feature undersized utensils.The listing indicates that this is FOR Blackstone grills, but it is not. It doesn't exactly fit the Blackstone shelf, nor does it secure in anyway. It will fit on the Blackstone shelf, just as it will fit on the shelf of any grill, but it is not specifically tailored to fit your Blackstone.This is a somewhat useful product that I'm satisfied with but not blown away by.
