The only unique feature of this product is that it includes a 20 mL Luer Lock syringe and a Luer Lock steel tube. The syringe is ok but the steel tube is only 6" long which is too short (diameter is 10 gauge, about 2.7 mm ID, which is fine). As others have mentioned, the tube is poorly made (attached at an angle rather than straight, crimp collar is mangled - see picture)The length needs to be at least half the width of the treadmill and ideally a bit longer. Since most treadmill belts are 16" to 20" wide, the steel tube length needs to be at least 8" to 10" long and ideally in the range of 10" to 12" long. I purchased a 12" long Luer Lock steel tube elsewhere (search for "12 Inch Blunt Tipped Dispensing Needle, Stainless Steel, Luer Lock" - get 10 gauge or 8 gauge).

They delivered it the next day. I was surprised to see such a significant difference in belt and motor performance. It takes a big load off of the motor. The product did what it said it would do. I am highly satisfied.

The price and size of the bottle are very good, the steel applicator they send with it however could use some improvement. It broke within the first 3 seconds of me opening it so I just have to squeeze the oil under the treadmill belt as far as I can.

So, treadmill oil. Not the sexiest topic to review. But if you have a treadmill and use it frequently, regular lubrication of the belt is required. With many other lubricants, you need to add lube manually by loosening the belt. Basically, you loosen the tread based on your model's directions, and then squeeze 1/5 to 1/4 of the bottle of this under the belt and onto the platform. Then you slowly tighten the belt and either move the belt manually or carefully use the slow setting to spin the belt while you watch the oil spread as the belt moves. After a few revolutions, make any tightening adjustments and you are done. It can take a while to get everything centered and working, and you wind up using a lot of oil.But THIS particular set comes with a long, rigid needle, so you can actually do the whole thing without loosening the belt! Awesome! Because less is lost and you can direct the oil better, you only need 15-25 ml of oil to do the job. That means that there are between 5 and 8 doses in this bottle! That makes it a real price performer!I just went for a jog after lubing my treadmill, and can happily report that it worked great - I see no difference in performance between this product and some of the more expensive ones except that this was easier, cleaner, and faster. Score bonus points for being made in the good ol' USA! πIn my book, that makes this silicone treadmill oil a real winner! I highly recommend it!
