The can lid is made of quality food grade silicone with a rubber straw that is removable. It fits well on the can and is easy to put on and take off. Insert the flexible rubber straw and you are ready to go. If you push the straw down into the can you can close the lid, so it is sealed. It worked well for me.I’m disappointed I only got one. The title and pictures show a set of two lids as did the title, so I thought I was getting two for this price. I should have looked more carefully before ordering. Personally, I think the price is too high for 1 can lid, so am taking off 1 star.

Really handy for cans! I drive a lot for work or am in a multitude of different locations, and having a way to put a lid on a can is incredibly handy. Many places have a rule where drinks without a lid are not allowed, and this way any of my canned drinks (energy drinks, let’s be real) fit the bill. And it keeps anything from sloshing out if I have to stop short for any reason. My only disappointment is that the straw that comes with this is short, so it only works in a standard sized can. On the plus side, the straws that I have from my travel tumbler fit into the hole in this and they are plenty tall enough for a taller can (it’s a bit of a tight fit, but the silicone lid has just enough give for it to work). On the downside, those straws are both too long and not flexible enough to bend and tuck into the lid for the flap to be closed like the one that came with it is.It fits snug enough that I feel secure enough to lift and carry the whole drink by the little loop on the lid, but I wouldn’t trust it enough to swing it around or use that to clip it to a bag or anything. It definitely isn’t leak proof even with the tab shut if the drink falls over without the straw in, but it does slow down the spillage by a lot, so you have time to right it without having spilled your whole drink. It may be spill proof or at least a whole lot better with the straw in (and folded beneath the shut tab), but I don’t generally use the straw so I haven’t tested it.Being silicone, it’s pretty easy to clean, though right where the tab attaches to the lid is a crevice that takes a bit more effort to really get clean, but that spot doesn’t generally get anything in it except in the case of a spill. I don’t think the price for this is too bad ($7.99 at time of review), though I would honestly expect to get a pair of them for that price rather than the single lid this is.

Okay not super practical to carry around for the purpose of a can. I do like that it is silicone and easy to clean though. If you drink cans with straws this would be great for you, but I don't like it.

I absolutely love this soda can straw and lid combo! It's perfect for being outside with drinks because it will definitely keep the bugs out and prevents spills. The straw can be completely removed from the lid for cleaning and it's all silicone, so no plastic parts! I have found that if I let the can sit for just a minute after opening, it reduces the amount of bubbling up that happens from all the carbonation releasing. I also really like not having to put my mouth on a metal can (ick!). This is going to be perfect for summer when we spend a lot of time outside for meals.

From my wife:I didn't know how much I needed these! My dad is 86 and tends to spill. I slap this baby on his soda, and I can relax! Easy to wash. The straw is removeable. Fits tightly! Great product!

This cover was exactly what I needed to keep bugs out of my canned drinks. Lately we’ve had our usual spring outbreak of drain flies and this cover is nice and tight and keeps even the smallest ones out. I’m using mine without the straw for that reason.
