This twisted rope did not perform well when trying to use it for shibari. Would not recommend.

For the price? Can't beat them. Not the softest. And the metal ends are NOT what you want. But not bad.

It's an attractive rope. Shiney purple color, and nice texture.However, the quality starts to suffer when actually used.I think if you were going to use it for decoration or cordon off some areas, it would be good.But if you need to restrain anything, or tie some knots it starts to come apart.The shiny top layer gives way to a more dull fuzzy rope underneath. you can see the fraying after just a couple sessions of basic entry level knot tying. If you are looking at getting into social knot typing, this might be good for your intro class to see if it is something you are interested in. But you will very quickly grow out of it as you see it start to fray right away.For decoration, great! For other knots, not great. (even for decoration I don't think you would more than a use or two out of it before it starts to show wear).

this rope is silky smooth and easy on the skin. as long as you are careful and know what you are doing you will get no rope burns from this. the color is so vibrant as well. well put together

I wanted something colorful to string between some poles so that I can clothespin some children's clothing to it for a garage sale. The clothes will be light enough, so I won't really be able to test out the strength of the rope. It seems well enough made for my purpose, though.It's smooth and capped on the ends. I was thinking that maybe I could cut a length and use it as a decoration on a gift box, but would probably have to crimp the end that gets cut so it doesn't unravel. It comes with a large cinch-tie satin storage bag. It'll be good to have on hand. Happy camper.

I wanted something that was this color and of decent material. The rope comes in two sections, perfect for multiple body parts being tied up ;)
