The leather that these are made of is pretty good quality... Hardware appears to be off good quality also and attached securely... I was a little disappointed in the variety of colors in the package... I purchased two packs of these and they were all the same color...

These bracelets were a hit! They come with instructions and the boys loved them. Also a pretty good value for the price as it comes with several straps.

This is a great set to share the mystery of the mystery braid with friends. It takes some doing to figure it out, but once you do, you have a great bracelet!

I received 4 blue and 4 tan. No variety to the pack. I needed the brown and black ones as pictured so will be returning. Seems like a decent product but the pictures are definitely misleading. :(

These are great! I bought it for my 15 great old grandson and all his friends wanted one. I have now bought 3 packages. The colors are all different but very pleasing which makes them fun and unique to each person. Would be great for a guided craft class in a group setting. Good quality suede/ leather.

Several colours in a pack. Braid them loose for a larger size, or tight for smaller. Wish I'd found these years ago.

Great product! I received 3 black, 2 navy blue, 2 brown, and 1 gray. Watched a quick Youtube video on how to do the braid, and within 1 minute of opening the package my son and I had completed bracelets. The braid takes about 30 seconds to complete. My wrist is 7 1/2 inches and the completed bracelet is a perfect fit; it's a little big on my son's wrist so we will shrink his with a good soak and a hairdryer. I am taking the rest of the straps to our next scout meeting so my scouts can braid their own bracelet. I will also likely purchase more packs to give to friends, Bible study members (to be a visual reminder of Ecclesiastes 4:12), etc.

I bought these as I have always wanted to try "magic" braiding, every since I managed to unravel my leather woggle at Guides!The bracelets are good quality and instructions clear but would be great if the colours were more exciting - I got mostly the same tone of medium browns.

As others have noted, there do not seem to be the same colors as the product image. However, the colors included worked just fine for my needs. The instructions were easy to follow and the bracelets came together nicely. However, the finished product was a bit small for an adult wrist, so I solved this by making fewer braids in the bracelets that I wanted to be longer. A nice little leather project that requires no tools, cutting implements, messy dyes, glue, or mallets!

Colors not at all as pictured. Came with 3 blues, 3 tans, 1 black, 1 brown. My one black was damaged. All clasps close well and package comes with instructions on how to make the mystery braid. Keep in mind that if you're gifting to a friend with big wrists or a boyfriend, it might not fit if braided. See pictures attached for reference. Wanted to gift a few to my boyfriend, but I they won't fit him. Wanted the gray tan for myself, but it was not included.

I am a math tutor and I am always looking for ways to tie math to the real world. This bracelet is an example of topology, the study of bending and twisting a plain without ripping it. The directions are very clear with photos included. The price means you could use it for a girl scout troop or boys scouts. (Too difficult for Brownies or Cubs) You can do it over and over, once you get the hang of it. There is only one length and it fits about a 7,5 inch wrist. Even if it doesn't fit the kids, they will still get a kick out of it, I think.
