It's a great tool but it is not multi-functional. There is no space for pots/pans and dishware. The utensil holder is adequate but is made to dip below the level of the rack - it hangs on but above the level of the rack if the rack is placed on a flat surface. The drainer does have handles if your sink is large enough from side to side to hold it.I'm glad I have it; a definite step up from the last unit I had. This one is metal, not plastic, so even hard water won't damage it, if it's kept clean. I bought a drying mat for it because my apt sink isn't wide enough so the unit sits on the counter. The drying mat is machine washable.
