I absolutely love these washable cover-ups! I have two 10 month old baby girl Yorkies and I am in college, so sometimes I have to leave them for longer than 5 hours. I got these hoping they would help hold them until I got home, but if they just couldn't then atleast the diaper would catch it. And let me tell you, these work! I come home from school after being gone for almost 7 hours and both of them hold it the entire time. I would say these are a great way to help prevent accidents and potty train puppies, and an easy way to catch accidents just in case they do happen. Without the diapers I would come home to two or three pee puddles on the floor. I didn't get the diaper liners, I just use regular women's pads or liners. I'm so glad I saw these and decided to give them a try! And I'm also glad they have a hole for their tales to go through.. I was nervous at first that they would take them off while I was gone since they are velcro, but they haven't attempted to even bite the diapers or take them off. Btw, the velcro makes them a breeze to put on and take off! These are wonderful and I recommend them to anyone that has puppies they have to leave alone for longer than 5 hours.I ordered a small as they are both almost 7 pounds and they fit great! I received the pink and purple set, which was perfect for my fur babies since those are the colors of everything I have for them. :)Give these a try, you'll love them!

One day, as an irresponsible youth, I decided I wanted a Pomeranian because, well...Fran Drescher had one. This is a almost a good reason & definitely a suitable substitute for doing research & finding the right dog to fit your life. Now, don't get me wrong, I love my dog, however, Poms. Will. Mark. It doesn't matter if he just went out, if something seems like it's not right with the world, he will lift his leg. And then I will get upset & clean while muttering "why couldn't I have gotten a fish?" over & over again. After getting fed up with cleaning the one millionth furniture leg I ran to Amazon looking for a solution. I knew I couldn't use any of those chemical sprays (little kids! pets! indoor air quality!) that probably wouldn't work anyway. To get to the point I decided to try this & let me tell you I'm so happy that I did. Now, Gimli looks like he's an extra on "Magic Mike," but he doesn't mark. At all. I don't know if it's the pressure on his nether regions or it puts the mess close enough to him that it would be icky, but he doesn't do it. He was in between sizes & I found that for his particular issue, it's best to have the smaller one so that it's nice & snug. I honestly think it is a relief to him to not have to worry about the compulsion...he waits by the door when I let him in so that I can get him suited up again.I have no idea how well these work for incontinence issues, but if you're dealing with marking, it's definitely worth a try!

Our toy poodle has 17 1/2 years of experience in being a puppy. As a result of her age, she is having more pee-pee accidents lately, while her people are at work. I purchased this 2-pack of cover-ups, size Small. We use Carefree panty shields as an absorbent liner, and this system works wonderfully well. For size small, a regular maxi-pad would be way too long; the panty shield provides perfect coverage of the panties. I'm sure a regular maxi would be more appropriate in larger sizes. These panties require putting Brandy's tail through the opening, then pulling the sides up from her belly and attaching the two velcro tabs on her back.Brandy doesn't seem to mind wearing her cover-ups after we get them on, so they must be pretty comfy, but some days she is less than cooperative in letting me put her tail into the opening. But since she has hip displasia & some arthritis, this is often easier than if we had to put her hind legs into openings. I also have to be careful and check the fit carefully when I get the cover-ups on, as it is easy (with all her fur) to bind her leg joint. But if I pay attention, and check her when I get them fastened, it is easy & quick to make any needed adjustments.Size info: Brandy weighs about 6 3/4 pounds, and has a small waist. I ordered Small based on previous reviews (especially the reviews on the XS ordering page), and they fit perfectly. Ordering one size up worked for us. The available velcro area is fairly wide, so any given size will have lots of lee-way in fit. These panties are very effective for pee-pee accidents, but definitely, the cover-up product is only for little girl dogs; boy dogs should use a wrap. I can't speak to the product's effectiveness for poop accidents, as that has not been tested at our house, thankfully. They would also work extremely well for when a little girl is in heat.I generally hand wash the soiled cover-ups in the bathroom sink. But they take several hours to air-dry. I did put one pair in the washing machine & dryer (in a mesh lingerie bag), with success, though they picked up some lint in that process, but it wasn't bad. I will certainly machine wash again in the future. Be advised that the purple color does run the first few times it is washed, so sort accordingly. We also have Petego Hot Pants for the same purpose . The Petego Hot Pants are definitely cuter, though both products work well. Petego Hot Pants require putting her hind legs into openings to get them on.
