Ich habe lange nicht mehr richtig genäht und muss sagen es war eine Herausforderung. Abgesehen davon dass die komplette Anleitung auf Englisch ist, muss man sich auch erst durch forschen was mach braucht, wie viel und wie man welche Teile zusammen näht.Aber es macht großen Spaß und wenn das Kostüm jetzt am Ende noch passt und gefällt, dann war es den Aufwand wert

This pattern was easy to follow assuming that you are an intermediate level sewist. The instructions are clear and sizing of finished dress was consistent with the measurements spelled out in the size chart. The variations were such that you could easily combine elements from the different options for a customized look. It worked perfectly for my daughter's colonial day project at school. The end result was of such high quality that my daughter's teacher thought that the dress was store bought!

I made View D for my granddaughter. She wanted a dress like this after we visited Colonial Williamsburg this summer. The pattern pieces fit together beautifully, and the sizing was perfect. It's been a few decades since I last sewed a dress, but had absolutely no problem making this one. I used a 100% cotton fabric to be authentically correct that I purchased at a shop typically stocking fabric for quilting. My granddaughter selected the specific fabrics.

Thank-you for the prompt shipment of this excellent pattern. My daughter and Son wanted to be Colonists for Halloween. This pattern is perfect and I'm sure I'll use it again for the Pilgrim outfit.
