Love these! Wish they were a little bigger size for students in the back of the room to see better but work great.

This is a great product that will help any student with place value. Everything in the box had a strong magnet and it was colorful.

Item Reviewed: Simply magic 131+4 PCS Jumbo Colorful Magnetic Base Ten BlocksASIN: B0C3M6NZS3------------------These are very useful for anyone that teaches on place value, especially 3rd or 4th grade. It is much easier to use these from the white board than to try to model using the base 10 blocks from a table. They are decent sized (the hundred flat is about the size of my hand - see picture) and feel like foam core board material. The kit comes with 100 units, 20 tens, 10 Hundreds, and 1 Thousand. I thought it was clever to model the thousand cube flat in perspective. They are quite useful and a good value. However, there are a couple weaknesses in the product design. Why not 5-star?-------------------Two issues prevent this from being a 5 star product.1. They only give 10 hundreds. That makes it difficult to use these to model carrying from the hundreds place. However, even if they gave me 20 hundreds it would still be difficult to model the hundreds because of issue #22. The hundred flats do not stick to each other. That means you have to stick each of them to the whiteboard separately (see picture). It would be really helpful if I could layer them on top of each other to save whiteboard space.Conclusion-------------Overall, the above items are not a dealbreaker and do not prevent these from being a useful tool in class. However, they do prevent it from being as useful and effective as it could be. If the above issues were fixed (especially #2) it would definitely be a 5-star product.
