These are for 4 y/o granddaughter who loves to ski, but doesn't like cold legs. She is thin, and these are stretchy, so they go on easily, but contract to her twiggy legs. Very happy, merino wool underlayers are the way to go, and good to find them in her size.

My boy is a little shorter than average and very skinny and these were perfect on him. We have a lot of wool so I can say, this was a little bit less soft and more itchy, and probably a bit more pilly, but it worked great and he has been wearing them often so I know they’re not bothering him. They look adorable on him. The coming weeks will be very telling as to whether or not they help with warmth so I will update then, if needed.Update: these have held up and have worked very well and therefore I have purchased more for all of my kids. They are a fair price for wool. Excellent baselayer or comfy pjs. Even good as stand alone clothing.
