I wear a size 10.5 D-width in a quality shoe, and the Simpson size 11 fits just fine. My first pair lasted five years, instructing 8 or so HPDE weekends a year. I see numerous pairs of these every weekend in the paddock. My friends and I generally agree they are comfortable to walk around in, but the sole is only lightly textured, not treaded, so I wouldn't want to use them as general purpose shoes. There is good pedal feel, and good width for heel & toe shifting.

So first off I'll point out these things run a bit big. Definitely not overly wide, but longer than normal shoe.They are more comfortable than expected which makes me wonder how much of a driving shoe it is. I bought for sim racing and have Fanatec V3i pedals. They are metal construction and i just literally slide off the brake! My car (s4) isn't so bad but its definitely there as well. These are incredible for if you need to left foot brake / trailbrake. I have pretty big feet and normally can't fit basketball shoes / running shoes. Just something to consider. In my Crosstrek however w/ regular rubber covered pedals, they're incredibly tacky. Both of my cars are manual but I couldn't justify wearing racing shoes in the 2.0 Crosstrek ;)

These shoes were for my boyfriend who drifts his racecar. It took him a little to get used to but in a good way! Super light weight too

yes, there are probably more comfortable shoes. But for the value this is 90% of a $300 shoe. Size fit perfect. Have not raced with them yet, but looking forward to it in a few weeks. Solid construction from Simpson. If you are on a budget, this is the shoe for you.

Very Comfortable race shoe. I find I have really good pedal feel while wearing these compared to my old race shoes. They feel like they are pretty durable. I only have half a season on them. I would definitely recommend purchasing these shoes.

Very comfortable shoe and true to typical shoe size. I like the cut-out at the back of the ankle allowing me to point my toes forward. This is good for me as I like to drive with my legs stretched out in front of me more than the average driver.
