The backing is pretty low quality but I bought for the threads and they are good. They are very shiny and I havent had any problems in my old Brother embroidery machine.

I have used this thread twice so far. It did great. I am a beginner at machine embroidery. I didn’t have any breakage or any other issues with it. I love the color choices too.

Great starter set for trying out machine embroidery if the thread spins in correct direction. Stabilizer is a bit stiffer than others but still works and tears great. Thread huggers work well to keep thread from unwound.Thread itself is good but it gets caught often because its winding direction. Thread should feed from the bottom of the spool when it is on the horizontal spool holder on the machine but this feeds from the top which pulls the spool off the holder and cause thread to get caught and break. I have to use a thread stand for this thread instead of placing it on my machine.
