This is not the Singer sewing machines I remember. Would not sew through jeans even. Had to send it back. Very poor quality.

I love this machine. I have had it for 6 months. I am just starting to pick up this hobby again. I sewed three PJ flannel bottoms and a sherpa pillow case for Christmas presents. It is definitely heavy duty. The sherpa pillow case at one point had four layers to sew through and I had no problems. All the items came out beautifully. I am now sewing cloth and linen napkins and trying out all the different stitch options. The button hole maker is amazing. I would definitely purchase again.
