When I first received the cutter, it wouldn’t cut. I started a return with Amazon and then thought I really need to give the manufacturer a chance to resolve the issue. I really wasn’t taking any risk since I could still return it to Amazon if Singer didn’t provide a timely support. I contacted Singer and they were great. They did try to support troubling shooting via email, but I still couldn’t get the machine to cut. Singer immediately said they would provide me a new machine and sent me a UPS shipping label. As soon as they received notice that I shipped the machine to them, they started the process of sending me a new machine. I received the machine two weeks after I sent mine. This is over the Christmas holidays, so two weeks was expected. Their customer support kept me updated during the entire process via email. The replaced machine works great and will be a great timesaver when cutting out fabric for bags. I just love the machine and glad I made the effort to contact Singer!!! Their support was excellent!

This machine really is powerful!We have been able to cut so many things for our crafting business (and pleasure).The instructions are detailed and easy to follow and understand. It was fairly simple to set up and connect to our PC. The display is clear and bright.Love it!!!

this cutter is a BEAST..if you're doing large work (vinyl, fabric, etc), this machine will handle it with ease, but make sure you have the space for it, and someone to help you get it setup, because it's not lightweight, and it needs a lot of room.

This machine is not suited for crafters who use mostly vinyl. The interface and the program doesn’t do well with customizing projects. This is best suited for sewers. Also the machine is HUGE

The cutter is great. I love it already. I have three Cricut Makers and just everything about learning them, in the beginning, was unnecessarily difficult. The Singer Momento is much easier to learn and to use. And, the software is free, which is a bonus. The downside is the mat that was included with the cutter is terrible. It is cheap and has lost its stickiness already. It is also warped which messes with the loading and accuracy of the cut. The Singer mats are on backorder and the customer service SUCKS so I purchased some off brand mats off of Amazon. Overall, I think the machine is good for the price.

This cutter has so much promise! I love the idea of cutting fat quarters of fabric. Unfortunately, it only worked as expected for one day. On the second day it began starting all cuts about 3/4” below the top of the cutting area on the mat. Obviously, that’s a big problem because all cuts are shifted down and you cannot use the entire cutting area. Plus I am worried that at some point it will cut in the correct place, in which case I will have placed the fabric in the wrong spot. I did all that I could to resolve the problem including trying different devices to send the file, restarting my devices and the Momento, and restoring the Momento to factory settings. I then contacted Singer about this issue twice with no response. The machine will be returned to Amazon. So disappointing.

This is a really great product, making cutting out quilting pieces super fast and easy (which is my least favorite part of quilting). BE WARNED: Pay attention to the size! This is a LARGE machine. It takes up a lot of space! I'm not saying that's a downside, but if you're thinking "Cricut sized" and get the Memento, you may not have a place for it. It's fully 3ft wide -- so make sure you're prepared for that. I saw the 24" wide cutting ability and didn't think to add more inches for the machine itself. I have room, but only just.
