It works very well and I love the size . Only the burner you are using gets hot , not the edges or surface which is great. All in all I am quite impressed.

It works really good . It is very useful so see how much watt it consumes for cooking. This is really helpful for me to calculate the power while using the solar generator and battery backup in outdoor .I know in advance how much battery power needed to cook food . I also like the space between the burners. This allows me to keep larger vessels. No wind issues in cooking . I recommend this product.!

I don’t like that it does not show where this product is made and if it is CS A approved.

This stove is multiple uses but for me it serves as 2 purposes. I can use it to do hot pot indoor during winter time. In summer time I can put it outside on the patio table of my deck doing some cooking or keep things warm during BBQ. I don’t intend to do any other cooking inside the house as it will produce smokes. One good feature of this electric stove is that there are 9 functions which basically have preset temperature. This is different from those electric stoves which I used before. And you can increase or decrease the temperature any time you want. I find the fan a little bit noisy but not very loud. The fan will turn off after 5 minutes after you turn off the stove. There is a hot indicator which will be turned off when the stove is not hot. Other than that this stove works as expected. I didn’t see any certification by the government which makes me worry a bit about how safe is it about this stove. One extra feature is the timer which is lacking from the previous electric stoves I used. Also, I don’t see any warranty info and so I assume there isn’t any. I view warranty very important for any electronic device purchase.Pro:9 preset functionsTimer1800 watts powerHot indicatorAppears to be well constructedSuitable for most cookwareCons:No warrantyNo safety certificationFan a bit loud

This is a pretty standard hot plate. The coils are covered by a glass top so clean up is a breeze. There is a cooling fan inside the unit turns on as the unit heats. It's not super loud, but it is very noticeable. This hot plate is also much slower to heat up than a stove top unit, which is understandable given the power difference. Overall, I'd recommend an induction hot plate if your pans are magnetic. They provide better performance for reduced energy use.

This electric cooker has a sleek design, requires no mechanical knowledge and is very safe. It heats up quickly and runs well. For me the double hob is an added advantage, it's a great design, looks neat and stylish and saves space on the worktop. The price is also very affordable, which is exactly what we wanted. I also like the durability of the stove and the ease of cooking and cleaning. Well worth the investment!

I got this Karienvir "Electric Ceramic Hob" (in Britain, 'hob' = hotplate) thinking it would see occasional service in the cottage guest bunkie. After just one evening in the hands of The Chef here at home, I was told it would not be disappearing into a cupboard, that it is going to replace the "twitchy" cottage propane elements she has never much liked. I asked her why she'd made up her mind so quickly.1) a relatively easy learning curve. After a quick wipe-down (to remove any manufacturing residue) and a glance at the controls, she had the "Hob" on. The "Fast Heat" setting resulted in an almost instant red hot surface, too high for what she had in her 9" fry pan; the "Simmer" setting was perfect. The appliance has six other cooking-term presets to choose from.2) a "W/F" button facilitates switching between the presets and surface wattage settings of 200-1800 watts. The Chef does not think in watts so is unlikely to work in anything other than the 8 presets. Too bad it doesn't give the more familiar "low/simmer/medium/high" instead of largely-unhelpful numerical wattage readouts. The manual does offer a conversion chart (Watts to Fahrenheit temperature) but the print is tiny and using the manual an inconvenient additional step. Will The Chef learn to think in watts? Maybe... but unlikely. She has mastered varying the wattage between presets by using the "arrow" button.3) typical of ceramic cooktops, the surface will mark from spatters; don't try to remove them until the surface is cool. The Hob flashes a helpful "hot" warning after use.4) the Hob feels sturdy and sits about 2" above the non-combustible surface you place it on; any taller and "dinging" the ceramic top with a pot could become an issue. The Hob comes with a more-than-acceptably-long power chord and is light enough to store flat, but it does have a large 14" x 12" footprint.Any drawbacks? Other than the peculiarities mentioned above, nothing came to her mind. It'll be great for a fried egg, pot of chili or bowl of soup, any thing that doesn't require multiple burners. In short, The Chef likes her Hob, a lot mire than she expected when she found it sitting beside her stove. 4.75 out of 5, perfect except for those opaque wattage readings.
