I needed a single light socket with a cord long enough to wrap around exposed conduit and still reach an outlet. This one fit the bill.Although I am using it indoors, the weatherproof aspect will eventually allow me to hang this bottle chandelier in an outdoor setting.

I added a metal "shade" (which I also purchased from Amazon) and used it as a pendant light on my patio under the deck. The 11" length was exactly right for my needs.

This cord works great! I used a shade from an old lamp and a bug zapper light bulb to secure this under my porch away from the entry to keep the insects outside, and it's working quite well!

Really like this light. Hung as a temporary light in my pergola, connected to porch light. Very good length (more than I ended up needing) and no on an off switch inline which is exactly what I wanted.

I wanted to hang 3 lanterns that I purchased in Hoi An, Vietnam but wanted them outside, wanted a single bulb so I could use the cord to hang the lantern, and wanted good quality that lasts. Luckily I found this product which seems to be the same quality of the stranded patio lighting I also own (the cheap ones don't last). They look great and my wife loves them! I have them plugged into a hidden outdoor strip that has a smart sensor- turns on at dusk.

High quality light cord. Used it to create a hanging lamp. The base of the Edison style bulb I bought for it would not touch the contact in the socket because the socket was so deep. After several days of considering different solutions (including trying different vintage style bulbs, which didn't work) and not wanting to purchase a bulb extender, I noticed the end of the socket that touched the bulb was not hard plastic, but more like a pliable material which I could cut easily with a knife. I sliced off about 3/8 inch of the black material, and the bulb finally made contact.

I am going through a pendant lamp phase and really wanted one for our apartment balcony. This was the only outdoor one I could find and it works great! The cord wasn't long enough for what I needed, but I was able to just purchase an additional outdoor extension cord. Great packaging, great quality, and fast shipment! No complaints! :)Note: There isn't a switch to turn it on and off, so be prepared to purchase some sort of timer/switch, or just plug it in manually when you need it!
