Very thin liquid with water consistency requiring several applications for decent coverage. The pulling tab broke off the bottle top when opening (bad design). Dries quickly, perhaps too fast if used in a warm, dry environment. Slightly overpriced at $16.99 a bottle for the quality. Durability and leakage are to be determined...

This Single Step Primer works very well with excellent adhesion to glass and metal, and it dried fast just as promised. I used it for a windshield replacement on my 67 Galaxie project, and was impressed with how well it bonded and how quickly it was ready for the urethane. The included daubers made application easy, and the UV resistance is a big plus for long-term durability.Pros:Strong adhesionFast drying (10 minutes)No activator neededComes with applicatorsUV and corrosion resistantCons:The 50 mL bottle runs out quickly—more product would be ideal for larger jobsStrong odor, so use in a well-ventilated areaOverall, a reliable and effective primer that gets the job done. Would definitely buy again, just wish there was a larger size option.

Works Well – Bargain Price – Prep Prep Prep Clean Clean Clean – read the instructionsApparently one reviewer is quite confused because this product IS NOT a polyurethane ADHESIVE that can be used alone to glue things together. This product is the PRIMER to be used to prepare the surface before using the actual polyurethane adhesive. You should really let a professional install your windshield because the windshield is a critical safety factor in case of a roll over accident. This is a “primer” only – some urethane adhesives also need an “activator” so you must read the manufacturer’s instructions carefully. DO NOT clean with “Window Cleaner” which leaves a wax behind which will destroy the bond. Clean the surface of the window using a degreaser like a weak solution of ordinary hand dish washing detergent, rinse with clean water over and over, then finally clean using Acetone and do not allow the Acetone to touch the edge of the multi-layer glass. Capillary action will draw the Acetone, or primer, or activator, up and in between the layers of glass destroying the glass.

Polyurethane is not really proprietary, so why buy expensive names? This one worked great to glue a bonded window onto the back door of my Transit. No leaks, great price, no concerns at all.
