Stalking through oppressively scorching prairies, scrublands, and deserts demand a system that will keep you protected from the all-day sun while managing moisture to keep you cool and collected for the moment of truth. We found nothing existed between a fleece layer and loft insulation that met the demands of active cold-weather pursuits. Our solution was to create a high-performance insulating mid-layer with superior breathability for active pursuits. Constructed with a durable nylon face, the Kelvin Active Jacket can be worn as an outer layer in mild conditions or as a breathable, insulating mid-layer in the late season. Product Care. Routine Care and maintenance ensures the optimum performance of your SITKA Gear. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's care instructions – typically found on the inside tag. Use a front load washing machine and a gentle detergent. Use warm water on permanent press or gentle cycle and rinse twice to ensure all cleaner has been removed. Do Not Bleach, Do Not Dry Clean and Do Not Iron.

I use this as an under layer on cold days or just as a top coat on warmer days. It stays dry and quiet. It’s light and great for any treks into the woods. Highly recommend.

Sitka did a great job on this product! I've bought a lot of gear in the last 10 yeasrs bur this is the best item! Stika hit aBIG winner with this item. If anyone does not have ithis item..........Go buy it! You will not be sorry!

The jacket is great, was impressed with the quality and build of it. It’s super light weight and very quiet which is huge for bow hunting. I would have gave it 5 stars but the sizing was small I wear XL in everything Sitka I have. But this was tight so I had to exchange it for a xxl

i got the jacket for my hunting boyfriend’s birthday, and he said he loves it! it’s comfortable, great quality, and keeps him warm. so much so he hardly takes it off! was a little pricey but his smile made it worth it.

More expensive doesn’t always mean better. I’ve purchased Nomad brand from Academy in the past and Nomad absolutely blows this cheap junk out of the water. $188 for a jacket that may be good for 50F weather…I’ve got $30 Columbia fleeces that work just fine thank you. Do yourself a favor - pass on this one.

Every day use. He's not even a hunter or into camo! Lol I saw someone else had one and I fell in love with how light the fabric was and the high quality! Surprised him for Christmas.

This Sitka gear appears to be some of the best camo available for purchase. This was bought for my son and he wore it today for the first time. He absolutely loves it and it fits him perfectly.

Awesome jacket. I have a 44" chest and ordered a large. Just a bit on the tight side, but I bought as an intermediate layer so that will still work for me. Fits under my 90% jacket (XL) just fine as well as my Kuiu Super Down Hooded Jacket and rain gear. Exterior seems like it would snag, which I knew from other reviews but will not be wearing as an outer layer anyway. Euro optic shipped right away, arrived early. Seems normal for them, not the first time that's happened. Would buy through them any time.
