Your cart is empty.Sizzix Thinlits Dies are the perfect wafer-thin die, providing much more intricate designs with clean and precise cuts than you’d get from your average die. Designed especially for papercraft, you can now add the most delicate components to your birthday cards, invitations and more! Compatible with a wide range of Sizzix die cutting machines such as the Sizzix Big Shot, Sizzix Big Shot Plus, Sizzix Big Shot Foldaway, Sizzix Big Shot Pro and Sizzix Big Shot Express. All perfect die cutting machines for card making, so you won’t be short on projects you can utilise this die set for! What is die cutting? Die cutting is a quick and easy way of producing individual, or mass shapes from paper, foil, cardstock or even chipboard using a machine and die, instead of cutting by hand. What cuts my material? A die cutting machine will always be necessary in order to die cut, though it's not the machine itself that physically cuts your material. Your chosen die (for example a Sizzix Bigz, Thinlits or Framelits die), is responsible for cutting the design... the machine just applies the pressure. So if you're ever unsure if you can die cut a certain material, check the compatibility of your die rather than your machine! How do I use a Thinlits die? It’s easy! Grab your Big Shot Machine (660200) and Standard Cutting Pads (655093) to get started. Firstly, take one cutting pad and place your Thinlits die on top. Then, place your chosen material on top of the die. Complete your sandwich with your second cutting pad placed on the top of the Thinlits die and chosen material and it’s ready to go! With one roll through your die cutting machine, your design will be revealed. Note: An Adapter Platform (658992) will be required when using Thinlits dies with any of our Sizzix Big Shot machines. Simply place this under the sandwich you’ve created and you’re ready to go! If you've already purchased a one of our Big Shot machines, your adapater is included! Qualite sizzix donc rien à redire. par contre faire tres attention à la reception, bien verifier qu il y a le die pour faire l env. 1ere fois que cela m arrive il manquait 1 die. Apres comme il est tres gd il n est pas avec l env plastique qui contient les autres pieces surement oublie a l emballage. Pas de pbme pour un retour et nouvel envoi.Ca fait une petite enveloppe.

Handy for all types of paper craft. The envelope is only small, but useful for a multitude of purposes.The range of dies in this kit is a great addition to my stash. Love it.

I am loving the Chapter 3 die sets. Yes, the envelope is not a "usable size" as others have commented - it's meant to be tiny, to hold a card or be part of a vignette. How did you expect a die that fits in a 6 inch die cutter to make a large envelope? If you want "usable" envelopes get a We R Memory Keepers envelope punchboard (great investment). The other dies in the set work well with larger envelopes from the punchboard, especially the ones that make windows. I've been using these sets to make embellishments for my journal and I appreciate that the stamp dies match the Stamp Collector stamps. I will agree with other reviewers that these sets have become pricey for what they are. I wish they were closer to $15 or $19 because a lot of the set is made of number dies and most of us already have tons of those. Between the 3 Chapter 3 foundation die sets there are 90 little number dies. That's too many. But I do love the rest of the set.That said, there is a problem. I store my die sets in plastic envelopes with magnet sheets, and one of the first things I do is to arrange the sets onto a magnet sheet. I noticed that the three number 4's didn't match. Two of the number 4's are forwards, only one is reverse. Meaning if I cut them out, two will be backwards and only one will be correct. Are all of the Postale sets like this? My Specimen and Collector sets seemed to be fine. Since I rarely use the numbers I'm not going to get upset about it.

I'm not sure why I even hoped this envelope would be a 'useful; size. It's like a toy envelope, something you use as a prop or decoration. It will hold a very small card in a journal or scrapbook page. The die cuts very well with good score lines. I wonder when I will break the Tim Holtz spell. He's talented, to be sure, and his contributions to paper crafting are legend, but his dies and stamps are becoming vastly overpriced, largely in response to his enormous following. I purchased the other Sizzix die sets in the Chapter 3 line (and I will review them separately) but they are all, in my opinion, much ado about nothing. The other dies in this package are tiny numbers the like. There is a die to cut the card to go in the envelope. It's very cute, and if it weren't so expensive, it would be fine. I think I'm through trying to keep up with Mr. Holtz' products. As I said, they are all too expensive now, from embossing folders to stamps to decorative elements. Creative, inspiring, but ultimately not worth it to me any longer.
