Very nice gear set on this one right here. Very little back drag and super tight arc swing. Stubby handle makes this in ace in the hole for tight spaces jobs. Built like a tank and extremely underpriced for what it is. China or not this feels like the quality I expect from this brand.

i couldn't pass this deal up on black friday. needed a 3/8 stubby and the gear wrench ones were just a little more than i cared to pay. if only the big gear wrench ratchet set was on more of a sale.. anyway, the only complaints i have so far about this is that the ratcheting mechanism is somewhat stiff. so much that if you're ratcheting fast it will reverse the direction on you. overall quality is spot on. i've used icon, gear wrench, snap-on, craftsman, matco, ares, duratech, etc.. craftsman ratchets were always my go to and was my first real socket set and have held up great. just not the same great warranty they used to have with sears gone. so far gear wrench is my favorite by far for quality vs price. matco/snap-on are great but at a cost. my ares 120T work wonderful as well. I'll have to get some more use out of this SK to see if it'll be a good alternative to the gear wrench, but I'm confident this stubby will do it's job just fine.

Nice and short and does what it is supposed to do. The teeth are relatively fine and the back drag is pretty good. Pretty nice for the money.
