Lately I’ve run into some difficulties in removing spark plugs - I’ve had to replace my regular socket with thin wall, various lengths, and finally looking for the perfect socket to fit a particular model - this was that socket !!A great inexpensive tool, durable, and easy to work with !!!!

Well made but, it describes itself as extra long when in reality it isn’t that much longer.

Beautiful finish on crome, good indent for ball on ratchet to click on to. Rubber liner holds spark plug properly.

Didn't work on my '08 Dodge Ram 1500, it requires a thin wall. This is not a thin wall. I jumped the gun with a part number from a YouTube video without verifying.

Excellent plug hold and slim fit made changing the plugs on my 2002 Odyssey a breeze. Build quality seems tops notch. No complaints at all.

This socket worked great on a 2007 Honda Odyssey. This socket removes the risk of breaking the sparkplugs when installing, or removing plugs from an engine where the plugs are installed in tubes through the valve covers.

I needed a thin walled socket to change the spark plugs on my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.7L engine. I realize this is not advertized as a thin walled socket, but I found another SK socket that is not longer available that had a similar part number, so I took the gamble and purchased this one. Unfortunately, it is not a thin walled socket. If you are searching for a thin walled socket to change the spark plugs in your 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee - this WILL NOT WORK. Otherwise, still a quality tool.

I purchased this socket specifically to change the spark plugs in my 98 Saturn SL2, which are deep within the head. The socket has a rubber grommet to hold the spark plug and to help prevent damaging the ceramic insulator. The grommet gripped the ceramic portion of the spark plug to the point where it was difficult to rotate it and position it over the nut portion of the spark plug. I applied some light oil that I happened to have to the rubber grommet and it did the trick. I also tried wetting the ceramic portion of the spark plug with a little water and that also worked. Either way, only very little is needed. The less you use the better so there's nothing residual left on the spark plug. The socket is designed to apply the turning force to the flat surfaces of the nut, and not the corners like traditional sockets. This helps to prevent rounding off of the corners which is especially helpful with those stubborn fasteners. The socket's width is uniform from top to bottom. This helps to eliminate flex and translates into more torque being applied to whatever you are trying to remove or install.I was able to remove and install the spark plugs very easily. All in all a great tool.
