I was able to install this without a press and just tapping it on with a hammer and it held up to the flat part of the hammer without taking any damage they come pre-greased I still added more though but overall looks of good quality and wasn’t bad to install it without expensive tools

Match factory seal, 2002 f250 Superduty. Thanks Amazon. I did buy the Seal setting tools. I am not sure how you would do it without it, unless you have alot of experience, or I over thought it... thin film of red grease helped guide her in, I performed this after sliding shaft back into Diff. I couldn't find any info on how to do this. It seemed to work. made sure i started it squared first, some type of small brass rod would be good here,

SKF. They fit well and get the job done. Save yourself some trouble and get the installation tool. I've done it with and without the tool and using the right tool for the job is WAY better. I've put these seals on my 1999 f350, 2003 f250, and my 2004 f250.

These are great quality and fit well. Do yourself a favor and buy the OTC 6695 tool to install these. I've done these without the tool before but the time and frustration of finding the right size pipe isn't worth it. After you ruin the seal and have to wait for a new one you'll wish this was in your toolbox.

Make sure to buy the install tool so u don't destroy the seal like I did. I was told it's easy to install the axle seal, not to waste my money on a seal installer. After I bent the seal I took a pic and sent it to the mechanic that told me it was easy to install. He said what seal is that? He thought I was talking about the seal in the end of the axle housing. The tool is ~$60 I figure it as labor cost.I did manage to get the seal pressed on and its holding up for now but it will not last long. It is my own fault for being cheap and not getting the correct tool.
