Good quality. Perfect for my 2.5 year old to carry his spare ski gear and snacks. Didn't use the straps this time but they look great.

Purchased this backpack really liked it at first. It was comfortable for my daughter and helped as she was learning to ski. She used it 5 times. But we took it on our ski trip today and midway through the day we were gently tightening one of the straps and the buckle just snapped off. We did not pull hard on the strap and just did an adjustment you would do in the normal course of wearing any backpack, but the plastic of the buckle broke so easily. Disappointing we only got 5.5 uses out of this backpack. Maybe cheap materials?

This leash has been fantastic for our 4-year-old! The adjustable length and bungee section are perfect for either keeping her close or giving her some extra slack when needed. The top handle is especially useful for helping her off the lift—although our daughter tends to fall a lot, so I end up using the handle to lift and carry her. It’s held up well so far, but I can see the stitching potentially giving way with heavy, frequent use. One of my favorite features is the zippered pocket where we can store the leash and other little items. Overall, we’re really happy with this purchase and it’s been a great help!

Dank dem Rucksack konnten wir mit unserem Kleinsten die Pisten runter fahren und ihn Einbremsen wenn er zu schnell wurde. Er war bereits einmal im Ski Kurs und den Winter darauf haben wir es selbst mit dem Rucksack probiert. Nach 2 Tagen konnte unser Sohn Skifahren und seitdem fährt er selbstsicher und alleine runter.

This product worked as advertised and even better in my opinion. To anyone that is nervous about their kid not knowing how to stop or slow down and just wants to shred down the mountain this thing was amazing. The backpack is great to store the accessories for the toddler and even can strap the board or ski's to it making it easier to lug around all the equipment. Highly recommend.

These harness backpacks are very convenient for training my twin boys how to ski. I kind of wished they had a strap that connected between the legs. That way the chest strap doesn't choke my boys if the other straps come too loose. (This is why professional avalanche backpacks have a strap between the legs.)The handle at the top of the backpack is very helpful when getting the boys off the lifts until they learn how to depart the lift on their own.

It’s great that the straps fully detached from the backpack so this little bag could be a great hiking bag for my daughter when we’re not skiing. the straps are super sturdy And have large handles easy to hold while I’m wearing mittens . and the bag fits my daughter really well- great purchase.

Nous avons acheté ce sac à dos car mon mari est en snowboard alors que moi et mes deux enfants (3 et 5 ans) nous sommes en ski. Comme il ne pouvait les prendre entre ses jambes, c'était la seule solution pour lui, pour pouvoir s'occuper d'un des deux enfants. Nous l'avons surtout utilisé au début pour notre fils de 3 ans qui a adoré faire ses premières descentes, même si la technique n'est pas là. Puis nous l'avons ensuite mis sur le dos de notre fille de 5 ans qui se débrouillait bien mais avait beaucoup appréhension, elle ne voulait pas que je la lâche. Ce harnais à été vraiment libérateur pour elle, nous ne mettions finalement qu'une seule sangle, et en une matinée elle a fait des progrès de dingue, à la fin de la semaine elle savait skier ! Donc oui je recommande ce harnais, pour les gens comme nous qui souhaitent apprendre à leur enfants à skier, ça permet d'être plus serein pour l'adulte qui peut retenir son enfant en cas d'enfant qui fonce tout droit, et ça permet à l'enfant de prendre confiance en lui. Et petit plus : l'enfant porte ses skis tout seul grâce au sac à dos, ça soulage les parents !

This is an awesome product at a great price. I used it to help my son feel more comfortable on the snow, after a less-than-stellar first attempt to snowboard. He went from having a fussy, tear-filled day at Big Bear to flying all over the hill at Mammoth. The handle on the backpack is super convenient and helped me lift him up with much less effort, and the straps provide a nice level of give and control. My only complaint is that a buckle for the chest strap broke when I first attempted to tighten it. As a result, I can't get the chest to tighten properly, which is less than ideal. Does anyone know how to contact customer support to request a new buckle? Thanks!

Pleasantly surprised by the build quality and materials. The backpack that comes with this harness is a plus as it can store the straps when not in use as well as a few other items, as well as specific holders for skis and helmet on the exterior. It looks far more modern and versatile than most of the harnesses I see people on the slopes with. The solid handles on the leashes and the backpack for lifting the kids are reassuring and easy to grasp with gloves. The backpack is easily adjustable and seems comfortable.The only other consideration I would give would be to consider the style of hooks that attach your poles to the back of the kids skis. These allow you to guide your kids' turns and don't pull the kid backwards like a harness so have some real advantages for teaching kids to ski. However, the harness style has more versatility as it gives a secure way to lift your child on/off chair lifts and when your kid is more or less skiing on his own, a single harness leash becomes just a simple safety line when needed.

After working my whole life with skiers of all ages from beginners to alpine racers, more than 40 years, I broke down and bought this training set for my just turned 4 year old grandson. We used it for the first time this week after 5 days of lessons at the local mountain. He left in tears or out of boredom on all but one day when we stayed and played on our own. He was doing nice straight glides but no “pizzas” to slow him down. The harness was awesome when we finally tried it! I was able to control his speed and discovered that he could turn like a pro when I gave him some slack in the leashes! He’ll be off of it as soon!! The harness and pack come with clear, simple instructions. I always thought these harnesses made the child sit on the tails of their skis rendering them harder to turn. But when fitted properly the tug is at the child’s hips and helps the child into a more athletic stance…just where a skier should be for maximum steering ability! As a semi retired professional ski instructor as well as alpine race coach and official, I highly recommend this product to help your toddler maximize his fun and yours!!
