In bra making, we call these sliders. I guess they are called strap adjusters for other uses. Either way, they serve an important function in making your fit adjustable, so don't leave these out! I have a roll of webbing and decided to branch out into making more accessories like collars, harnesses and bags of various types. This set gives me plenty to practice with and so far, they are holding up well and allow me to make adjustments without any slipping. I'm a fan!
