SKS is a quality manufacturer in the bicycle industry, we have been keeping bikes rolling for over 100 years.
Our history began in 1921 when Karl Scheffer-Klute of Sundern, Germany began manufacturing curtain rods. His company was purchased in 1932 by Wilhelm Blome, who also purchased a tire inflator company, which inspired him to begin manufacturing metal pumps.
SKS is now known as a pump and bicycle fender manufacturer, along with accessories for your bike, including bike pumps, fenders, bags, tools, digital pressure gauges, bottle cages, cage adapters, and even phone holders.
SKS items are still designed and manufactured in Sundern, Germany. We will continue to innovate and manufacture the highest quality cycling accessories for years to come.
The Future is Orange
SKS Germany employs 400 people at our bicycle HQ in Sundern, and over 700 employees across our three combined divisions.
43% of our bicycle business is through aftermarket product sales while 32% is OEM product.
Annually, SKS Germany produces:
- 4.5 million full fenders
- 2 million clip-on fenders
- 1.2 million bicycle pumps
This totals over 18,000 fenders per day and 3,200 pumps per day!
Revamping the classics
In 2022 the SKS full fender line was renewed. The classic Chromoplastic Longboard and Commuter II full fenders were replaced with the new Bluemels and Bluemels Style fenders.
Both models are made using the same chromoplastic fender material. But, the Bluemels now come with black hardware and are available in more sizes than before.
The Bluemels Style fenders feature a square profile design, double U Stay technology, a matte black finish, and come with a sleek, flexible spoiler on the front and rear fender.
SKS Germany continues to be a leader in clip-on fender options as well.

First off, the front fender mount isn't bad but, it could use some stays in the back stabilize it.The rear fender is total headache if you have a front derailleur.The rear end is very floppy and needs stays to stabilize it.With a better rear mounting system these would be a great option.There a good as a temporary fix but not if you are touring long term. :(

Das vordere schutzblech läßt sich sehr gut montieren und ist recht stabil.Leider erfüllt das Hintere nicht die Erwartungen denn die Halterung ist für mein Rad nicht sehr stabil.Trotzdem im Großen und Ganzen ein Gut.

Excellent quality!........... Installed the SKS Mudguards for winter riding. I went for a ride in the snow today, and they work and look great!...... The rear fender tapers perfectly -"As seen in picture" - for chain clearance on motorized bikes. Many Thanks!..... Happy Moto-ing and Good Day!

Some reviewers complain about the lack of stays, however, that’s what makes these fenders desirable! I do not want extra complexity especially when being in rough terrain. The fenders wobble and flex which helps their durability. I have have had the front fender pop off at one point, however, this was easily remedied. Something to think about: in very muddy conditions fenders will not work. These fenders are easily removed by hand (no tools needed). This enables you to quickly remove them as conditions change. This would be much more inconvenient if the fenders had stays.

Nicht nur, dass das Schutzblech an sämtlichen (!) 26" Mountainbikes nicht zu installieren war, da bei allen erdenklichen Installationsmöglichkeit kein ausreichender Abstand zum Reifen hergestellt werden konnte. Das mitgelieferte Material ist so mangelhaft, dass ich am Hinterbau die Mutter nicht mehr von der Schraube bekomme. Vielen Dank, denn mit der Flex komme ich dort auch nicht hin.

Not sure what sks team was thinking these mounting options they only fit a very specific b bike.The front fender is just okay wish you can have it go forward more.The back fender bracket doesn't open wide enough to slide up past for the bracket to bolt down on to rear of any of my bikes I own needed more adjustability. I will be able to make it work but I will have to put time I wasn't planning on into this.

Fits great with small modification to rear fender to fit perfect ,use same screw for rear rack,my front fork lacks mounting holes, I use heavy duty double sided mounting tape and zip ties do works fine doesn't move

Super Schutzbleche - haben meine Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen! Sehen tollaus und wirken sehr stabil.Im Gegensatz zu dem was es Früher auf dem Markt gab, um Welten besser in Stabilität und Passform! Anbau erfordert etwas Nerven , ist aber durchaus auch für Ungeübte keine unlösbare Aufgabe.

フロントフォークには付かないため、リアだけ装着しています。27.5インチのホイールには多少加工が必要かも知れません。固定箇所が前の方二箇所だけなので、後ろが少しバタバタしますが、今まで搭載した泥除けのなかでは良いと思います。耐久性についてはこれからですね
