Its exactly what it looks like. Doesnt have a weird smell, no weird feeling when you touch it, and burns smoothly. Stays lit, is durable, and you dont run out for a long time, i mean like 2 years at least. I totally recommend it!

I've been using this wick for a little over a year now (still on the same roll), and I have just a few complaints, which I believe are due to a common cause. It is very light on the wax compared to other wicks I've used. This causes it to smoulder indefinitely once blown out (I just decided to time it, and it has been smouldering for a solid 15 minutes, with no sign of slowing), not stay wrapped around a lighter with just one half-hitch, and it seems to have lower wind resistance than other wicks I've used.Other than that, the wax seems to be of fine quality, with no weird solvent smells or anything like that that I've experienced with other wicks I've used, which makes the unfavorable attributes tolerable.Increasing the wax content would likely resolve all of the issues I've mentioned, but it still works well enough. Would be nice if it was made with American hemp as well.

The wax content of this wick is too low- as it burns the cord tip curls up into a dangling little ball of fire that grows and then is hard to extinguish. This practically renders this smoking wick unusable.

This hempwick is equal to any other I've bought on here or found in a shop. If there is better quality stuff out there I haven't encountered it.It's cheaper per foot than any other I've found on amazon.What more do you want?I have had luck using this as a candle wick by turning cord out of two strands. A single strand is not sufficient to act as a candle wick but cording two seems to work okay. Three makes for too big a flame! Not perfectly ideal but if you're making candles for yourself to use around your own home, it works!

Nice hemp wick! The thickness, wax, and burn is good. Did not experience any wax dripping like I have with other similar beeswax brands. Value for your money, can't go wrong with this one. "I'll be baack" for more! lol **always make sure to extinguish the end of the wick after use, it isn't self-extinguishing like some people think for some reason
