Wrong hardware came with it, had to press out bushing sleeve out the old shock to install, had to bend the bracket to mount it, didn’t help at all I’m removing it and putting factory one back on, waste of money.

I like the boot/dust cover versus those that don't come with it. This replaced my previous aftermarket stabilizer. It was easy to replace - less than an hour!

Installed on a 88 jeep comanche, no issues with the install, product looks great. Seems to function about as good as you would guess.

Perfect for my 06 TJ Rubicon. Seems well made and so far, seems like a good replacement.

Product showed up on time, Great price, original skyjacker box looked like it was dragged behind delivery truck for 100 miles then stuck in amazon box, although stabilizer looked brand new ..Installation is very simple, to install bushings simple apply a squirt of dish liquid and they pop right in, Some reviews complained about poly bushings being to wide, simply grab a pry bar and spread the mounting bracket back to its original with it was before bolt drew it together. I was replacing an aged Skyjacker stabilizer with same item so cant really elaborate on improvement to much, its a stabilizer ,it does seem stiffer than old one..

My LJ needed a new Steering Stabilizer and I selected the Skyjacker based on reviews and it's competitive price. It's a sturdy unit with all the parts needed for installation, except instructions. The official youtube video is a bit weak on installation, the written one on the Skyjacker website is a bit better but lacks photos to show how the bolt should be setup. I found a good set of written (with photo) instructions on a vendor website. One helpful hint I found is get a "pickle fork" tool, it really helps remove the old stabilizer (see photo). This stabilizer seems to be built like a tank (which I like), and the installation nut for the tie rod end has thread locker already applied. One thing I noted with my '06 LJ is the end near the passenger wheel could not be installed with the given bushing. The polyurethane just would not fit (at least not without a 3lb hammer and some work). I trimmed the bushing down to the width of the metal bushing inside (took all of 2 minutes); then the end was able to fit into the U bracket where it belonged. Once installed the unit looks great, and returns a factory like feel to the steering. Taking my time (and greasing the ball joints just because I was down there) it took about an hour. Another tool note on the 06 the bolt and nut near the wheel are 18mm, while the castle nut was 3/4".

Quick delivery, Nice price. I replaced an old steering stabilizer on a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Sport (TJ). That one had rusted pretty bad and just seemed too loose. This skyjacker looks nice, seemed to be nice quality and came with all parts needed, including the boot. Others I looked at made you pay extra for that. My steering seems nice a firm so far. Took about an hour to replace the existing one, but that was me not rushing. I think I made a good choice. Oh, don't expect instructions, but it's not difficult.
