Great side door opener. Much more silent than the standard roof style opener. Easy to install. Programming it you’re going to need to call customer service. Trying to buy any additional add-ons for this particular product is extremely expensive.Since I’ve had the system installed the auto garage door lock is now malfunctioning it did work in the beginning. I’ve had to reprogram the door three times now because the door keeps opening after it’s completed a complete cycle. I recommend this product for the price point only if you don’t have patience, I wouldn’t recommend buying this

Easy to install works amazing

Love how quiet it works. Mounting is easy. But needs a bit better instructions on how the auto lock works. Also it's only 318 mhz so doesn't work with a lot of after market products. For example you can't get a video key pad to work with it. I tried. MyQ stuff won't work with it and the accessories are slim. Also depending on your garage, be ready to get another motion light as this site in the corner and my shelves and fridges block the light a lot. The wifi works with my phone, etc, so I think the CHAMBERLAIN people just hate you not having their products. A wifi is a wifi. But they use their own frequencies to adapt it to. Really dumb, but it's their way or the highway. I like this unit. 400$ cheaper than the link master yet works. So I was to use a door bell video, and the Skylink key pad. It was cheaper by half of the myQ which I really liked tho - see my review on it.This door opener comes with a really easy fob set up. Couple seconds each. The wall opener button has some kean options! You can set an auto timer on it to close so you never let it be open when you're gone or forget. The Orbit app lets you close the door or open it from anywhere. Wish it had a camera & Amazon Alexa hookup. The auto lock prevents the pry bar type of burglary, and auto unlocks it every time it opens. The up/down set up is straightforward and easy to do. My door has the best setup so far. It is easier to work on it you have a car in the garage because you can reach the unit without moving the car out! The only big problem will be installing a plug close by. I had an outdoor plug on the outside I could hook into so was easy for me to add a plug in. We used a smart plug shut off so when we tell Alexa good night, she locks all four smart locks, makes sure the garage door is shut,shuts the power off to the opener, and then shuts off the bedroom lights. Tech is so fun! When it works!If you look at the pics you can see , you can close the door, slide the lock button, and u cannot open the door with a remote opener plus the runner lock on the rails. See the pic of the lock on the rail. The black box under the opener. The blue light is the wifi hookup so you can tell at a glance it's hooked up to wifi. Fairly secure. & Yes we were broken into, they got into our garage, they stole all of our keys, and my truck. Scary thought. People in our house. What if they were violent?In Most homes the light is bright enough but it only lights up one side of the car? So install the opener on the driver side of the car if you can. Yet the other side may not have enough light so we are putting in a motion light to cover that area. Not a big deal. We have a window so a solar light will work nicely and easier to install.Was a bit of work, but no chains, no brackets on the door. Just the hookup to the spring shaft. Drilling a few lock holes, comes with a sticky template for the drilling of the holes.A good quiet unit, soft stop up & down. Make sure you're doors springs are set right, and the door square. This isn't a very powerful unit. Yet it works really good so far. I'm impressed.I would recommend it. I really wish they had a security camera that would work with their system tho. Having all this different camera. locks etc can be tedious. It would be nice to have an all in one system where you could buy things as you could afford. Our garage doesn't fit my truck and it keeps getting broken into so a motion camera and light would be a thing we are putting in. MyQ is nice that way. ome on SKyLink you can do it! Would highly recommend with a few caveats as mentioned. I know I will never go back to an overhead opener again. Would be nice to have an option for an overhead light in the middle of the garage that hooked up to the unit to light the rest of that garage up. With LEDS this would be easy these days!
