The MaxxAir SkyMaxx is an insult to anyone with half a brain. It’s made of brittle, flimsy plastic that feels like it could shatter if you so much as sneeze near it. The so-called 'hardware' included is an absolute joke—half the screws snapped like twigs, turning what should have been a straightforward install into a grueling, rage-inducing ordeal. I burned over 20 hours trying to wrangle this pathetic excuse for a product into place, only to have the subpar materials betray me at every turn. The plastic cracked during installation, forcing me to drown it in sealant just to stave off the inevitable leaks. If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay far away from this embarrassing excuse for a skylight.
