Seems to be well made and it's easy to apply on any paddle. With young kids using our SUP boards regularly, I'm always worried about a paddle being dropped and sunk in the lake. I haven't had a chance to test the actual buoyancy this provides but I'm sure it is better than nothing!

I hoped to use this to soften the grip, but unfortunately, the rubber underneath is far too hard for you to use it for that purpose. So if you aim to attach it to your paddle so that it floats when you fall off or lose it, it'll accomplish that. It adds about 4 oz to the paddle, and since it's at the end, it will likely slightly increase the paddle's swing weight if that's important to you. The rubber won't pick up much water weight, but the outer covering might pick up a little bit, so it might even weigh a bit more once you start using it in the water.

Don't know what else to other than it floats. OK, I'll add that it the construction feels great and the velcro is super tight. Good product.

This paddle float is a great addition to any kayak or SUP setup. It’s lightweight yet dense enough to offer reliable buoyancy, making re-entry much easier if you capsize. The hook and loop closure keeps it securely attached to your paddle, and the adjustable fit means it works with a variety of paddle styles. The bright green color adds visibility on the water, which is a nice safety bonus.

should make your paddle float unless it's made of bricks. it's a little too big around to grab comfortably, so make sure to put it on a place that it won't get in the way.
