This is what the carrier looked like straight out of the packaging. The interior was covered in pet fur! I didn't mind paying top dollar for this product if it's the most comfortable for my little dog, but I am shocked to have paid so much for a used product.

I’ve used this for several overseas trips with our cats. This carrier will fit under every seat as the sides can be folded in. Pockets to add travel essentials too. Extra helpful features include luggage opening for handle and top carry handle.I recommend NOT using the included lovely fluffy pad, (keep that for hotel or home) and purchase Stay-Dri Airline travel pet pads instead. They keep your pet dry even over a long flight or two with layovers! Without the carrier pad, you can double up the pads in the carrier for round trip needs.

OK, so I confess, that I JUST purchased this carrier. The price was ridiculous but it promised to deliver. And in the 3 times I've carried my kitty it has surpassed expectations. I rated it 5-stars but since I'm way to large for it I can only speculate that George was content because he fell asleep instantly even on the drives.It's very well built and easier to carry than your typical hard-shell carrier. Overall, this thing is definitely worth the price.

I really love this pet carrier-so well made- but my papillon is not crazy about it. We have one of those rectangle sherpa bags and she LOVES that but it's not a safe option for the car. She is just under 13 pounds pounds and 12" at the shoulder, 14" from neck to tail... and this carrier is a bit snug for her. Product description says up to 17 pounds. She can't turn around and I think that is the problem. I can get her to go in it for a treat, but then she backs out as fast as she can! I have had it about a month, and I've been conditioning with treats, feeding her in it, etc. I used it twice in the car, and my dog cried the whole time (she is crate trained and loves crates and her sherpa bag). So, I have decided to return this item and see if the other design, the round sleepy pod mobile, is more comfortable for my dog. For what it is worth, my cat, who is 11 pounds...and almost as big as my dog, goes in it fine and will sleep in it, etc. Again, the carrier itself is wonderful....sturdy, nice soft material inside, easy to clip into the car and I love that it was crash tested. Fingers crossed the other model will fit my pup!

Bin sehr begeistert von der Tasche. Ist zwar sehr teuer, aber es zahlt sich aus. Hatte mehrere Taschen bestellt um die Richte zum Fliegen zu finden. Diese war die Beste. Ich bin mit Sunny nach Spanien mit Eurowings geflogen. Gab kein Problem beim Einchecken - weder beim Hinflug noch beim Rückflug. Hund wird mit der Tasche zusammen abgewogen und darf insgesamt 8kg nicht überschreiten. Der Hund hat sehr viel Platz und die weiche Kunstfelleinlage (die man auch waschen kann) ist auch super (man braucht keine Decke hineinlegen). Sie passt gut unter den Vordersitz im Flugzeug. Hab sie aber der Länge nach hinunter geschoben (Hab einen Sitz mit mehr Beinfreiheit gebucht). Man kann aber auch die Seiten hochklappen und die Tasche dadurch quer unter den Sitz schieben (aber so hat der Hund weniger Platz im Inneren). Die Tasche kann man auch auf dem Koffer befestigen, was auch den Transport erleichtert. Sunny hat die Tasche auch von Anfang an gemocht. Man muss sie auslüften wenn sie kommt, da sie ein bisschen nach Kunststoff riecht (der Geruch verfliegt aber schnell). Sie ist sehr stabil, der Deckel besteht aus einem festen Netz. Von Oben kann man nicht richtig den Hund im Inneren sehen, aber es kommt trotzdem genug Licht hinein. Ich finde es wichtig, dass er genug Platz hat und es bequem ist, was bei der Tasche gegeben ist.

Points positifs :- Qualité (matériaux utilisés, finitions, etc.) : un vrai produit premium pour le transport du chat ! La mienne l'a aussi adopté comme niche pour la sieste x)- Taille : le produit est spacieux, ma chatte de 4kg a la place pour être installée confortablement, se retourner (elle a presque "trop" de place car elle se balade dans le sac pendant qu'on le porte)- Rigidité : le fond reste bien plat quand on porte le sac, le chat n'est pas écrasé dans le sacPoints négatifs :- Prix, forcément : encore que, pour nuancer, il est quand même moins cher ici (170€ environ) qu'ailleurs (230€ environ)- Odeur : le produit dégage une très forte odeur chimique, insupportable - ça m'a demandé de le laisser à l'aérer dans mon appartement pendant 10j + 2j à l'extérieur, sur le balcon (heureusement que c'est parti, car franchement, je ne me voyais pas imposer ça à mon chat)

So glad I did my research on a great animal travel bag that was flexible for different airline requirements. Remember if taking connecting flights, you may be on a smaller plane, and the bag has to fit under the seat. I flew with Delta. Had no problems. This bag is made beyond my expectations. The pad inside easy to just clean and wipe excess pet hair off with a damp cloth. My cat was able to move around comfortable, and I do have a 16 lb cat. I thought the bag color was more of a light orange, but it's more of a fluorescent orange, so if color is important to you beware. I will tell everyone I know about this cat/ dog animal travel bag. FYI- was my first time flying with my cat.

Although expensive this is a well made, well designed product we used it to transport our cat from Turkey to the UK via holland involving a car journey 2 flights, 2 train journies and a ferry trip. the kennel on the ferry was quite sparse so we left his sleepy pod in it with the lid open and he chose to sleep in it, the base lining is very cosy. nice and easy to carry or slides over the handles of your suitcase. I would certainly be happy to recommend it

I had to fly with my cat recently, and I was stuck with the sudden thought of "How the heck do I do this?" I was flying with an airline with the most strict guidelines for carrier sizes. I bought this carrier, because it is able to be folded to become smaller.I was wonderfully surprised by how well my cat behaved in the carrier. My cat normally HATES going in the carrier, and she didn't cry once. She lied down and people watched the entire time. It looks like a duffle bag, so no one knew she was in there.It isn't cheap, but it is 100% worth it.

I have a Jack Russell Terrier mix who weighs 14 lbs, is 20" long and 15" tall when standing straight up.I frequently travel with my pup by commuter train and airplane. Previously I had a Sherpa bag which literally fell to pieces. Now mind you, it was well used over a couple of years, so I have no complaints about the craftsmanship. However, it was uncomfortable to carry and airlines often questioned whether my dog would be able to comfortably fly in it. Using it became a nuisance.I purchased the Sleepypod hoping it would resolve some of these issues. Yes, it is an expensive purchase. However, it is really well made and very roomy for my pup. As Sleepypod's website instructed, I bent the ends several times prior to use. They are definitely stiff initially, but with each bend, they become easier to fold in. (Based on other reviews of the product, I would suggest Sleepypod provide such instruction on the insert that comes with the product, not just on their website.)Our first flight was very successful. My pup felt very safe and secure inside her bag. She was able to stretch out comfortably and the airline did not question whether she would fly comfortably in it. I also found it really easy to get her in and out of it, however my dog is well trained to use such a bag so she goes in and out on her own accord.I loved having the ability to slide the carrier over my roller luggage handle. I use to fake such functionality with the Sherpa, but it was always clumsy and I was worried my pup would slide off.It's very easy to carry over your shoulder, although the shoulder pad needs to be worn in so that it will sit more nicely. However, I love the handle on top which lets me carry her in front of me in tight situations, such as when boarding the plane.Once I got her on the plane, I only had to fold in one side as there was room for the other side to stay open. It folded easy enough, but I found it too difficult to move her around once we got in the air, so I left her be. It was a short flight.The zipper pouch is spacious enough for her leash and collapsible water bowl. There seemed to be space left over for more items, if needed.The padded bed is soft to the touch and easy to remove for cleaning.I love that it folds up compactly when not in use. It's super easy to store and get out of the way.I purchased it in Orange Dream - the color is really fun and the canvas material seems easy to clean.The only question I have about the product is that it came with a flat piece of black plastic - I have no idea where this goes or what I'm suppose to do with it.If you frequently travel with your dog as I do, I highly recommend this product. If you travel only once in a while, I would save your money and get a Sherpa bag.
