Professional pet stylist here, I have been working with dogs for over a decade. It came in damaged with chipped paint and bent pins. The color is also way darker than the picture. It does a decent job fluffing but I wanted the light color purple. The handle also sounds/feels hollow. Not really a fan of this brush, will probably get a better quality one.

Really impressed with this brush. It's an obvious copy of the CC big G brush, but at a fraction of the price. The metal prongs aren't quite as heavy gauge as the CC our groomer showed us, but they are long and sturdy. Comfortable handle for easy grip. This really does the job on our Mini Australian Labradoodle with a dense very soft wavy fleece coat. She loves being brushed and has shown no objections to this brush.I highly recommend.

Nice German style slicker. Honestly for the price it's definitely comparable to the cc coral. Comb that comes with is garbage as a professional.

My doodle is 8 years old and I'm just now finding the perfect brush for his thick curly hair. He looks like he just came from the groomer! "Brush time" to him is play time and normally takes awhile but I can tell he loves this and he relaxes now and let's me do my thing. Amazing Brush and will definitely be buying another one.

Bought it a while ago and it still works well! I use it for medium-large dogs of all different breeds. It’s made of wood, so it’s fairly comfortable to grasp for long periods of time. The only thing that happened is that the bottom right hand corner of the pin pad broke loose, so the glue doesn’t hold it in anymore. Yeah, I can push it back in, but one stroke of the brush and it pops right back out. I’ve heard other people having this problem too, but the value is good!

I was after a soft pin brush, this definitely isn't a soft pin.The brush in its self is good but it's a hard pin. A little disappointed but as a groomer it'll come in handy

Do not waist your money on a Chris Christensen brush. This brush is 3/4 of the price and it works just as good if not better.

Exactly as advertised. The long bristled brush came with a dematter and a very heavy duty metal comb. The brush bristles definitely seem like they will bend out of place easily if the brush is mishandled (which is pretty standard for slicker brushes), but if treated well I foresee this being my primary brush for a long time to come.I do all of my miniature poodle's grooming myself, and this brush is the only brush I expect to continute to use for 95% of it.

I was recommended this brush by a fellow professional dog/cat groomer as a less expensive version of the coveted Chris Christiansen coral brush. I have to say, this one (at half the price) is working great so far. The quality seems to be there and I highly recommend to professionals and pet owners.I was originally sent the smaller size by accident (I ordered the large), and the seller got back to me immediately, offering me not only a refund, but a replacement free of charge. After using the medium size and realizing there is only a $2 difference in price, I opted to just keep the smaller brush and a refund is not necessary.I am very happy with this product and the customer service displayed by the seller!

Received my brush today and put it to the test immediately. One of our Shelties is very sensitive to pin brushes when groomed on her underside. She was the first dog brushed (She has a shorter coat) and it removed so much hair and extremely low number of growls to disapprove. Then went onto our Male Sheltie with a super thick long coat. The brush went through his coat with ease and a large amount of hair was removed. He had been groomed with an undercoat rake and brushed the day before. In addition, would like to add I need wrist surgery and have been putting it off and have O.A. in my primary right hand making it hard for me to grip and hold things without severe pain. The brush did not hurt my hand. I have been using short pin brushes for 40 years on our Shelties and now see what a mistake that was. I would highly recommend this brush for the great job it does on long haired breeds.
