For the price and what I was using these for, they were great. My kids are young and I was pulling them around the yard. The brakes are nothing but a piece of plastic that you stick through a slot that is huge. They won’t stay in place. Not even good enough to use as handles while I was just walking and pulling kids. Those ill fitting pieces of plastic would never slow a bigger kid down much less stop. The concept is smart. The design is not. Would have gladly paid a little more to have been able to at least have used the brakes for handles. Should change the design and affix the plastic brake pieces to the sled.

Handles/brakes are very hard to get on and it doesn't come with instructions. A C clamp was the only thing that worked. Also it is alot smaller that I thought

This racer came without the hand breaks , rope or handles. I am very disappointed as I didnt think to open before I wrapped for a birthday present and once opened , we realized nothing came on or with it in the box.

Ordered this for my nephew’s 2nd birthday, but I’m disappointed in the quality for the price ($29). The plastic doesn’t seem especially heavy duty and straight out of the box, it already looks “chewed up” around the place to install the hand brakes. I wouldn’t bother installing them because it looks like after a few uses, the plastic would probably crack anyway. The pull handle is a joke- it’s hollow plastic and is way too small to feel comfortable pulling with any weight in the sled. If I had time to return this sled and order something else before the birthday party, I would. This sled is only worth about half of the price...

My 3 year old daughter was so excited for her shiny new sled, but it arrived without the handles. She keeps asking where the handles are. Lack of handles renders a great product virtually useless, as she can't hold on properly. Please send us the handles to complete our purchase.
