Did not work right out of the box! Now I'm pulling everything apart to get it out. I Should of checked it right away before install.China you won this time!

The water inlet hole for the lower rad hose was drilled a few degrees off so the outlet runs directly into the harmonic balancer. You can make it work but you have to use a 3/4 pipe thread elbow to move the inlet away from the balancer.

Pump will not clear any external balancer. The inlet is at the wrong angle.

This pump looks real nice, and fits ok getting all four bolts lined up but just barely. However if you have an 8" balancer the lower radiator hose will not fit. The inlet hose rubs on the dampener and cannot be installed. I had to fabricate apiece of 1" copper pipe about 4" long with 3/4" npt male adaptor and a 3/4" npt female adaptor to move the hose connection away from the dampener. Talk about a flow restriction! 2" hose necked to 1"! I am using this pump for about an hour or so for break-in and leak check, on a run stand then put on the spare parts pile. So not great heat load other than break-in friction. I will be testing the engine at an ambient temp of about 30° so I think there will be adequate coolant flow, I have some concern. I have a temp gauge installed and I will be monitoring it closely, then it will be removed, and a serpentine belt drive will be installed with a high flow belt drive pump, before the engine is installed. I would not run this on the street no way no how, 1/8 mile drag strip maybe.

I like the water pump but the water neck was loose so when I fired the car up it started leaking so I put more water in it and then the plug Allen head plug in the on the bottom of the water pump it started leaking

Just installed and the aluminum screw in hose pipe is almost touching the harmonic balancer. No water to put a hose on it. Also, no plug for the 3rd hole on the passenger side.
