Pretty easy to assemble and straightforward instructions. It fits several books pretty easily on each shelf, but I wouldn't trust it to hold an excess amount of books or items since it's only being held in by 2 screws. My unit came with some saw dust and the edges of the shelves were unfinished. Also, some of the edges look scuffed up. But you don't see those unless you look up close.Once put together is solid enough and looks nice in my office to show off some books. I've had some people compliment it in my video call background since it stands out a bit.

I found the screwdriver this kit came with technically capable but not preferable and used another one I had that proved easier to use for this product assembly.The assembly was straight forward but I found 2 of the predrilled holes were incorrect for the screw size and the screws just spin in place and didn't bite properly or tighten up.It fits well on my shelf, looks great, and functions exactly as needed for the books I am presently reading.

I received this item and am very happy with it. I love the design of it and the size, as it fit perfectly in one of the nooks in the credenza I also ordered, so i was able to utilize that space. Of course there are only two shelves for stacking things, so it's not alot but it's great for a small area. The instructions sort of hard to follow, as it was hard to depict which direction which piece went. I had to unscrew the shelves multiple times before finding the right way. Once all put together it felt like a very sturdy shelf. The screw quality was also very good too and it came with everything you needed including the screw driver.Overall, I highly recommend this product.
