This is a very small carrier obviously not intended for long term use. We have a small parrot who usually has the run of the house, but it's nice to have a small cage to contain him in a pinch. This is great for transport and for temporary housing. We did put in a different perch, but other than that, this works for us. Actually, I believe it's a good idea to have a spare cage.

We purchased this little cage for a 5 hour car trip for our 2 lovebirds. The bottom is durable plastic with a metal bars top. It easily assembles by attaching the top and bottom pieces together. It comes with a water bottle and a small food cup so we were able to give the birds food and water during our stops. It also comes with a perch that the birds loved. It is a small cage but for travel purposes it was safe and cozy for our birds. It is in no way to be used as a daily cage but worked very well for a day trip.

Useful for transporting really small parrots like budgies but perch sits so high up that there would never be enough headroom for a bird that sits more upright on the perch like a cockatiel.

I already owned a cage with a similar design, but I wanted a second one, and this had some neat features. But it's made so cheaply that I regret buying it. The bottom is bowed and so the cage wobbles and doesn't stay flat and steady. When I put it together, the tabs broke off because the plastic is so thin and fragile. Also the perch is useless because it just rotates, not allowing birds to get a stable grip. Both the feed bowl and the waterer are similarly thin and fragile, making them basically useless, too. Disappointed.

Simple cheap carrier. The plastic is thin and the white coating on the metal is not thorough as I can see the metal in some places where it didn't get coated. The top door is difficult to open. The accessories that came with it, especially the perch, are so cheap, thin, bendy, and useless. The handle is right in the way of the door which is very inconvenient and annoying.But the cage works as a simple carrier/transport-vehicle just to get from point A to point B.
