If it actually did come in a dispenser it might be easier to use. Perfect as rc push rod material, BUT, be prepared to straighten it out- not easy.

I needed straight wire over 3' long. I hoped this wire might be usable with guides, but found it could not be straightened and caused too much friction gong through the guides. The box indicated that the company could provide straight wire. I emailed the company, but was told their minimum would be ten pounds or 426 pieces of 4' wire. I needed ten pieces. I found I could use 1/16" saddle clamps with an extra piece of 0.047" wire included to join two pieces of 0.047" to make the pieces longer than 36". I am using this wire to control turnouts (switches) on a model rail road.

Very stiff and springy wire, I'm no piano technician but I was able to string it up and get it in tune, seems like the exact same thing as was on there originally.

I bought the wire for making custom springs but have found many uses for it including securing dash switches in my truck when the mounting posts have long since failed. Every person should have a roll of various sizes in their toolbox.

If you are expecting this to come out straight when uncoiled, you will be disappointed. I was hoping to use it for rc servo push rods, and it proved too difficult to straighten adequately.
