I photograph cars and was told by a graphic design designer that this allows you to take photos without reflection. But there were reflections in the photos. I don’t know if it was a user error or if it was the lens.

No sirvió mucho que digamos, el efecto polarizado no se nota mucho en reflejos de luz, ventanas, o luces de noche , decepciona bastante porque es muy caro, eso sí, está muy bien diseñado sin embargo es mera mercadotecnia este tipo de productos de Smallrig. En comparación, el CPL de Neewer de 67mm está mucho más grande, tiene mejores resultados, pero es mucho más robusto, pesado y estorba si lo quieres montar en un gimbal.

I ordered this primarily for the magnetic CPL for my existing smallrig lens mount plate. It fits the other Neewer and Smallrig 52mm magnetic mounts just fine. But if you do not have the plates or smallrig iphone cases, then you can just use the enclosed mount to place over the iphone camera lenses. It does block part of the screen but the benefit is not needing anything more than what comes in this box. I think you need to be a little careful tightening it down, but once you do, the filter does not move unless you drop it. Going to buy the ND smallrig magnetic filter next and I'll be all set for the most common photography situations that need filters, ND for bigger apertures and a polirizer to reduce glare and reflections.
